Analea's POV

I arrived at Tyler and Avery's house with mixed feelings. I had a business proposal from our company that needed Tyler's expert eye.

I could have arranged a meeting at his office pero wala daw ito duon, but a part of me wanted to see Avery's face when she saw me at their home. Gusto ko siyang asarin.

I told the guard I was a friend of Avery and Tyler's, and he let me in without hesitation.

As I walked up the driveway, I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. This should have been my house, my life with Tyler. Instead, I was here, an outsider looking in.

I noticed a small boy playing in the basketball court, running and laughing as Secretary KC chased after him.

Sino naman ang batang 'to? I was curious kaya lumapit ako sa kanila. Secretary KC stopped chasing the boy when she saw me.

"Miss Analea, what are you doing here?" Secretary KC asked, slightly out of breath.

"I'm here to see Tyler," I replied, keeping my eyes on the child. "Who is this boy?"

The boy, hearing our conversation, ran over and looked up at me with wide eyes. "Why are you looking for my daddy?" he asked innocently.

I stared at the child in shock. Anong sabi niya?

"Daddy?" I echoed, my mind racing. "Who is your daddy?"

"Daddy Tyler," the boy answered matter-of-factly.

My heart skipped a beat. Tyler and Avery had a child? How had I not known about this?

I studied Tyrone closely. He was handsome but didn't look much like Tyler or Avery. And they had only been married a few months. Impossible na magka-anak sila.

"What's your name and how old are you?" Tanong ko dito.

"I'm Tyrone Sandoval and I am 4 years old." The child said.

Secretary KC stepped in. "Perhaps you should talk to Miss Avery and Master Tyler about this," she suggested, sensing my confusion.

Tyrone resumed his play, running around the court, while I tried to make sense of what I'd just learned.

If this boy was truly Tyler and Avery's son, adopted child ba nila ito? Bago kami naghiwalay ni Tyler nuon hindi naman pamilyar sa akin ang mukha ng bata na 'to.

I turned to Secretary KC. "Are Tyler and Avery home?"

"Master Tyler is at a business meeting with Mr. Harrison, and Miss Avery is out running some errands," Secretary KC replied.

"Can I wait for them inside?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.

Secretary KC nodded and led me into the house. Tyrone followed us, his energy seemingly boundless.

As I stepped into Tyler and Avery's house, I couldn't help but marvel at its elegance. The high ceilings, tasteful decor, and luxurious furnishings spoke of a life of comfort and style.

My gaze was drawn to a massive wedding picture of Tyler and Avery that hung prominently on one wall. I walked over to it, my heart tightening as I took in their smiling faces. They looked so happy and in love, a stark reminder of what I had lost.

Scattered around the living room were other photographs like Christmas Eve family picture, a snapshot from New Year's Eve kung saan kasama na nila yung bata at nandun din ang mga kaibigan namin na sina Caleb, Mark, at Lucas. The sight of these images stung, a bitter reminder of the life that could have been mine. Pero bakit nung new year lang ang may picture nung bata?
