Only the Avatar can master all four elements and bring balance to the world
THIS JUST IN:
Republic City is a war zone! While Prince Wu led the remaining citizens to safety, Team Avatar battled Kuvira's giant mech, but no amount of bending could bring it down. In a last-ditch effort, Asami and her father outfitted the hummingbird suits with platinum cutters. Hiroshi helped Team Avatar infiltrate the Colossus, but he paid the ultimate price. Is victory within reach for our heroes?
Kicking her foot, hard, Asami slipped out of the ventilation system into the right arm of the Colossus. As she moved to barricade the entry door, Lemaya dropped to the ground with a grunt. "We're going to have to get through all of that wiring to get to the canon, aren't we?"
"If we were trying to dismantle it, yes."
Lemaya followed Asami to an inner door, its small square window looking in on a collection of spirit vine canisters and a machine feeding a tube every so often into the sky. "We're going to cut off her supply."
"Figured that would be easier than climbing our way out and unscrewing the canon." Asami wiped the rest of her tears off of her face and bent down to investigate the handle to the door. A pin pad stared down at her, but there was a very small hidden keyhole just beneath the knob. Pulling a bobby pin from her hair, Asami picked the lock and within seconds they were inside.
They spread out across the room, taking canisters off the metal shelves and carefully setting them on the ground. The glass clattered against each other as the Colossus started forward with a groan. Not liking the sound of that, Lemaya took Asami's jacket and tied it between the shelves, creating a makeshift canopy for the canisters to safely sit in. Maybe that way, they wouldn't be blown to pieces.
"Looks like that's the last of them," Lemaya murmured as she started up into the conveyor belt leading to the canon's mechanical insides. "How long do we have until she notices?" She jumped back as a jolt of electricity ran through the wiring above her. When it failed to reach the conductor of a canister, it fizzled out and then started again as if someone was slamming the gas on a parked car.
The Colossus stuttered, and everything went dark. The sirens ceased, and when the lights flickered on again, the confused whispers of Kuvira's soldiers filled the hallways. "I'm assuming that was Mako and Bolin which means we should probably get out of here," Asami began.
Lemaya nodded, already out the door. "While we do that, let's take out as many of her soldiers as we can."
"You read my mind."

Zai lit a thin flame over her pointer finger and began cutting a hole through the floor of the engine room. Iroh turned to the brothers and said, "When we went past here earlier, we counted four guards, but I'm sure there will be more."
"Perfect," Bolin deadpanned.
Mako cracked his knuckles, adding, "Okay, you two cover us as we go for the levers. Any other guards, Bolin and I will deal with them."
Iroh pulled himself through the roof first, quietly throwing his arm around the neck of one guard as Zai snuck toward another. Mako gestured right, signaling to his brother that he would take that side while he took the other. In the middle of the room, inside a tall railing, bright vines curled around thick cables, connecting the upper half of the mech to the lower. Energy crackled between the wiring. Spurts of blue and green moved between a long tube in the middle of the cables to transmitters positioned on the base of the domed roof.
