The Lost Elf Warrior

Chapter Eight

CLARITY

No one can stop me, not even a dickhead of an elf prince can stop me to go to a village of music and dancing where I can use my voice and be with other elves that want me there.

I am my own person, and I am not going to be stuck behind close walls thinking I am a prisoner which I know how to use a bow and face up to anything. As I put on a purple cloak on that Orianna gave me I slip out of my chambers and as I quickly ran down the hall, I was meet up by Hespeta and Eldric who were both bickering in a low whisper between each other. As I walked up to them Hespera face changed into a sweet smile when she saw me.

"No Orianna?" I asked notice that she is not here.

"Nah, she wants to work on her new project she is making" Eldric said leaning against the door.

"Right" I said with a slight nodded.

As we open the doors and step outside, I took a deep breathe in to smell the fresh air as I close my eyes. How I miss being outside in the air, the grass, the trees; everything.

"Come on you will love it" Hespeta took my hand and with that the three off us ran.

Well, I was more being drag but wherever they are taking me I know I will love it.

Not soon later I can hear the sound of music, and everything being lit up in beautiful bright colours and easy to blend in anywhere.

It feels as if I am in one of those stories I read when the girls goes to a ball, but this is beyond magic.

"This is amazing!" I said looking around in awe.

"Clarity, this is the Mire village" Eldric said with he's arms out in welcome.

I look to see shops and music everywhere and even pretty elves dancing around and the smell of food.

I look at Hespeta as she look back at me and she had the same idea. We giggle then took each other hand and made our way to join the dancers.

We dance around, laughed, spin and Eldric bought us the taste of amazing food I have never taste before.

I feel as nothing that happened a few hours ago happened and as if I am a free bird setting my wings free, only want to dance and be normal. I wanted a normal life since I was told I was a freak. Now I feel like nothing is stopping for what I want.

If I could live in any world and stay in it will be this. It's like I was meant to find this world, to be in a place where no one knows where I came from or knows who I am.

"I have never dance this much in my life!" I said as we made our way back over to Eldric who just order some drinks for us.

"Well, it seem you own the dance floor" Hespeta said, I took of my shoes that have started to hurt and place them on the table. Yes, I am not a shoe dancer kind of girl. I don't know how I manger to walk and even dance in them.

"I never liked to dance but it seems like I love it now" I said. They both look at me confused as Hespeta sip on our drinks that came.

"What were you like? Back at your village?" She asked me. Now where to start...

"I was the kind of girl you find in trees, forest, river streams anywhere in the forest and the sound of my voice making music, writing or singing" I explain as I remember the time, I wrote music and sing like it was made for me.

"Sounds like magic" Hespeta said dreamily.

"It wasn't really, girls where horrible. I think it's best I have left it behind because this is magic" I said chunking down half of the drink that Eldric order.

"Magic is not just music or dancing. Magic is in our hearts" Eldric told me.

I won't believe that until I feel it. Until then I will wait until I feel it.

But I still will always be running in trees in the wind, hunting deer's, rabbits down and feel my feet on the grass. I miss everything of it. It's as if I was made for it.

"I think the party is over for you three" I was brought out of my thoughts by that annoying voice. I groan as I turn around in shocked to find him with, he's friend, Valerian who waved at us amusing.

"What do you want?" I asked with an attitude in my voice.

He looked into my violet eyes with a cold look that sends shivers down my spine, but it did not give me fear not in the outside but more annoyed off him coming to get me while I am a free woman, can't I do what I want?

"You back in your chambers. Now!" He said crossing he's arms over he's chest. If we were not in this situation, I would say he looks good, but he seems to always piss me off since I met him.

"Why are you here Thornblade?" Hespeta asked looking past Xavier and at the grey hair.

"Uh, I was bord and had nothing to do" He said like it was the only thing to say. Men are so stupid. I rolled my eyes.

"That's it?" I asked raising a brow.

"That's all you have to say?" Hespeta asked also raising a brow as well.

"What do you expect me to do!? Go and fuck!" He said raising he's arms.

I did not want to hear that.

"Listen here little hunter!" Xavier point a finger at me. I hate that he calls me that.

"I have a name!" I spatted out.

"Whatever. I am a really early bird when it comes to training and if you don't get back to Mireworth Fortess, I will drag you there myself! And you can scream and kick all you want cause don't attempt me I will lock you in your chambers if you don't follow my orders" He shout at me like that will affect me.

"Oh" Eldric said in the back watching the scene.

"I'm a night owl and I like to see you drag a woman. Cause I don't care, I have lived my whole life freely and I am not going to have a stuck up ass brat of a prince tell me what I can or cannot do. You may be a male but I'm a women and I could kill you if I want to" I said with a smug look on my face.

He would never drag me while a few people watch in front of us, he is the prince and whispers might happen.

"Want to change that mouth of yours" He said with he's lips in a thin line.

"Nope" I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"You're going to regret this" He said and yet he threw me over he's shoulders.

Again!

I scream at him to put me down, but he ignore my screams. I even beg for Hespeta to tell him to put me down but that was no luck.

I don't know why he keeps throwing me over he's shoulder, but I think it has something to do with looking at my ass, I don't like that at all.

"If you don't put me down in the last minute, I will find a bow and put an arrow to your eyes!" I threatened him which he laugh and dropped me on the floor again!

I got up and brush myself of and I then face a smug looking prince which made me angrier then before.

"Look, you maybe the missing elf so you need to stay behind these walls until you are trained up" He said looking at me so serious.

It makes me want to cry.

"Just because I have a birth mark on my wrist does not prove nothing, I'm not your prisoner. And I would jump off the highest tower if it takes to not see your face again" I said then I storm off to my room.

And as I enter, I slammed my chambers door shut making sure it echo down the halls. I land on my bed as I cry my eyes out.

No other women should be treated like that, and I won't let that happened just because I was born a woman.
