(Clarity)
Two days, it has been two day and still I want action if I could, I would live this place and go and find my mother myself use my own mind and theory to find it myself it would be more quick and easy but all they are worried about is these demon elves they talk about that can be deadly and kill you.
But most of all Xavier has been training my ass for two days and have been pissing me off, I know he don't want to train with me, and so do I so why don't he just do what he do best.
Orianna and I are in Mire village just shopping around and picking anything up that catch our eye. Orianna had pick up quite a lot of fabric she must be designing a lot of clothing lately.
"New deigns you been working on?" I asked her quickly looking at her then turn back as we walk along with our basket in hand. Orianna sigh.
"When you leave in a big castle and go to balls and friend with the Queen you make a lot of designs" Orianna said then we both chuckle after what she said.
"What do you like may I asked?" Orianna asked me.
I never through someone would asked what I like instead of me trying to live to survive most of my time alone.
"I like to write songs" I started off.
"When I write and sing at the same time, it feels like she is with me already. I can hear her voice when I sing and it's a part of her with me" I said. Orianna was looking at me the whole time as I explain my passion to music and song writing.
"She is. And you will find her I know it and you will get the answers you need" Orianna said.
Ever since I came here no one had said that to me and I though everyone would think I'm just he hunter or the reader that can see them. But meeting Orianna I notice she can be difficult over time, but she has hope that I would see my mother again, even when her own mother is dead.
"Girls!" The sound of Hespera voice shouting from distance was heard. I look straight ahead and she a blonde hair running in a zigzag way towards us.
Hespera stopped in front of us catching her breathe, I hold onto her arm to make sure she don't fall.
"Hes, calm down. What's going on?" Orianna asked trying to calm our friend as she calm down.
"The trials tournament. Is about to be picked out" And after Hes said that Orianna look at me as I did the same then we grab Hes and start to run back to Mireworth Fortess before we can miss the trials pick.
I don't know anything about these trials that I heard stories that this trials tournament happen every decade and some elves don't even survive what they have to go through, and you could die from.
The three of us slammed open the throne room doors where most elves are gather around in. We made our way over to where we see Eldric and Valerian mostly stand. I straighten up my dress make sure no crease is shown or dirt on my dress.
Glassandra step forward with a welcome face and a smile on. Her arms stretch out in welcoming.
"Welcome, young, old, lord or lady, warriors, princes or princesses, my people to the three hundred and sixty five decade trials tournament" The hall roar is cheers while I clap quietly. I look around feeling a pair of eyes looking at me.
I'm not sure who is but it is giving me the chills.
"Now whoever may be pick your challenges might risk your life, you might die, or you will survive. Only one person shall be pick" Glassandra then walk over to the picking bowl that look of ice.
I look up to where a balcony stand where people to watch and I catch the blue eyes of Xavier who was looking back at me while a women next to him with purple hair about my mothers age is trying to talk to him, but he keep looking at me. Why is he looking at me while we hate each other and want our throats cut off with each other?
"This decade tribute is..." Glassandra open the paper slowly where the name of the person is written on it.
And everything I thought would be easy comes down crashing as the words Glassandra reads sound as it echo around my ear, and it burst them.
"Clarity Riverwood" Gasps, whispers, looks everything was on me.
I froze on my spot. I never put my name in knowing I could die, and I need to stay alive to find my mother. Most of every eye was turn on me and I have no idea what to do or say. I chuckle lightly to myself.
Slowly I made my way to where Glassandra stand, and she also had a shocked and frozen face on what she had read out loud.
"Well, here you have it" Glassandra let a shaky breathe out as I stand next to Glassandra looking ahead of theses elves that look at me like I will not survive five minutes in these tournaments.
"Clarity Riverwood. May the tournament begin in next week" Glassandra said dismissing the hall after they announce it.
I did not get a chance to move or walk, I was now being drag by Glassandra down to her chambers with her serious look written on her face while inside I was freaking out really bad.
The doors close and Glassandra turn to me as quick as I can say run.
"Please tell me you did not write your name in?" Glassandra asked looking at me as she beg that I did not put my name in. I would never do that, but someone must have done it.
"I swear to you Glassandra, I did not write my name" I whisper those words to her. Glassandra run her fingers through her hair while walking around in circles.
"Would you think I want to did even when I want to find my mother? No" I said.
The door then burst open and Xavier march in along with Hespera, Orianna, Eldric and Valerian tagging along, all of them had a worried and concern look instead of Xavier.
"Tell me this is a joke" Xavier demand.
"This girl shows up and is now picked for the next trials tournament" Xavier said. I sigh while closing my eyes not wanting to let the hears fall.
"Clarity did not put her name in, she wouldn't" Glassandra said.
"Then who would?" Why would he even care if he hates me, he would rather me be dead then be around him, giving him the worst days of his life.
"I think someone wants me dead" I said, seriously.
