CLARITY

There was little but not much sleep I could take. The chambers bed was nothing to what I was used to at Mireworth Fortess. I keep turning to each side to sleep on, getting hot and cold easily, and can't get to sleep over what I'll have to face at dawn.

It makes me want to throw up my dinner I had earlier, it was not very nice, just a piece of burnt chicken with carrots and peas but they had a good taste of the elven wine here. But what can I guess, this is above the mountains after all, and it might be my last meal I'll eat if I survive this. But how many more trials will I have to go through? Four? Five? Or perhaps seven? I don't know how many, but I want this to be over with as quick as possible and get back to finding my mother.

I don't remember closing my eyes and sleeping the uncomfortable bed but the next I woke to the early sun, it was nearly dawn, but the sun was not shown yet.

I got up and drawn myself a quick bath, I sink in, and my body relax, the only thing I have felt calm since I got here.

My hands were shaking for what I don't know what to face, but once I beat these trials, I'm going to find out who put my name in them, and who wants me dead cause they will be dead to me once I know who.

I rise from my bath and dry of the water that drips on me, I found this skin oil lying about and put it on my body, massage it into my skin til it sinks in. I change into my training gear as I tie the lace on my boots super tight that I would think they would hurt but they don't.

My hair was then braid to the side and after I was ready it was dawn; I pick up my sword and tie to my scabbard belt where I might need to slay whatever might kill me.

Swords are never my type I use to train to use it a few years when mother disappear, but it never grew on me, arrows and bows were my type of thing. When you can run through the forest and shoot them it would almost felt like you were free.

But I have to use this thing to save myself to get out of what mess to come my way.

"I see your dress and ready" The sound of Hespeta soft voice was heard by the door. I turn to face her as I bite my lip to not cry. I can't cry when I have a battle to beat.

"It's best to be ready then not" I mutter playing with my fingers.

Hespeta walked up to me and took both of my hands holding me, it felt fall of love by just one touch.

"Fight your way out of this" She whisper up close, she lean her forehead towards me until it was touching mine. I breathe in sinking in to this moment we have.

"I will fight" I whisper more to myself then to her.

"In there we will be watching you in this trial like when you walked the wall. There is a bow I seen in there, it is your talent, and you could shoot the beast in there" Hespeta said. Beast? What kind of beast?

"I can-I won't see you fall so win and survive" Hespeta said, I only nodded in response Hespeta understood as her lips reach a smile a bit in the corner, but I can feel the terror in her eyes if I don't make it.

"I need your sword, they said you must enter with no weapons. You must retrieve the weapon to use inside" Hespeta said which I nodded handing her my sword.

Hespeta might be the only one who could understand me more than anyone she is too kind to be in this world and I might be seeing as more as a friend. She might be my sister I crave and wanted. But for Orianna she might be a challenge I need to work on.

I pace back and forth as I wait in a room where I will walk out into the trials, I could hear a little or much crowd, but it did not sound big as it was when I walked on the wall. There is a beast, but it can be any beast, I don't really come across beast that I see but yet I have never slay a beast before. I need to find the beast weak spot for sure, grab the bow that is what I am aiming for.

I'm doing this all for my mother. For in the name of love. I know she is still alive, and I will do this, sacrifice all over again for her.

The back door open, I spin on the heel real fast I might make myself go dizzy. One of The Quiet Brothers walk in, his black eyes look at me as I part my lips that dried up really quickly.

"It's time, good luck" He said in his mind, he nodded. I return the nodded as he exit the room.

I turn to the door as it open and I step out being hit with the breeze. I saw Hespeta sitting with Eldric, but I don't see Xavier, is he such a cunt to see me slatter.

I then felt a thump that nearly made me fall, what I see in front of me was something I never seen before.

It was long like a long snake would look like but had spikes pointing out and as it opens up its mouth it had a thousand of teeth pointing in every direction.

Right, now is the time to play the hero.
