CLARITY

It has been three days since what happened between Xavier and I. He seems to come to his senses and left me alone; for now. Lucius and I have been spending some time together after he walked me back to my chambers.

The last trial is coming up today, I have survive two and I'm ready. I did not felt ready before but I'm willing to fight and get this out.

I sat in my chambers looking at the burnt fire already dress for the trials I just need a moment alone before I head down. I don't know what I have to face but I hope it is not worst then that beast, but again it could be anything I could face.

I heard the floor crack behind me, I turned around quickly only to find Eldric standing there I through Hespeta might come and check on me like she always does but I guess not.

"Oh, I through you were Hespeta" I said.

"Nope, but Hespeta sent me here instead of herself" Eldric then took a seat next to the fire I was sitting in front of me.

"How have you been since the trials have been happening?" Eldric asked. I look up at the person that is my friend.

"Honestly when I first said I was fine I was not, I was afraid of dying in these tournaments, but now I'm ready as it's the last one" I explain, Eldric nodded with a smile written on his lips.

"I feel you" Eldric replied. I could not help but feel peace when I'm with Eldric and Hespeta. That are like the brother and sister I always wanted, and I need them still.

"I can go back to finding my mother after this is over" I said. I still not giving up on finding her and when I get back to Mireworth Fortess Glassandra might have some leads on where my mother might be.

"What was she like? Your mother" Eldric asked, I chuckle at his question there is so many things I can say she was like.

"She was...a goddess" I said.

"She loved to help out in my village, kind beautiful but she was motherly. Hespeta would love her if she met her around everyone, she showed motherly love to everyone. She was loved " I said remembering the little details my mother did when I was with her.

"She sounds like the mother we all need" Eldric let a small smile on his lips looking down. It must make him feel lost without having your mother or father around. I wonder what happened to them.

I looked up at the clock above the fire place and see it was nearly time for my trial. I stand up dusting my pants down.

"The trial is going to start soon" I said. Eldric nodded before standing up himself. He walked up to me and wrapped his arms around me. It felt a comfort feeling I missed. I inhale his scent before we pulled away.

"Make it out alive again" I chuckle at Eldric last word.

"I always will" I said looking down at my boots with a smile then look back up.

"Can I walk with you to your trials?" Eldric asked.

"You don't have to asked twice" I said.

We walked out of my chambers together talking and laughing together feeling joy between each other and on another rage in hope this last trial won't kill me because I am Glassandra's only hope if I'm really an elf or not.
