Chapter Sixty One

CLARITY

The sun just started to rise up after the war has finish, it was a mess around the halls, doors swing open broken walls that have been broken. But a lot of elves were still alive and well.

I walked outside and took a seat at the bottom of the steps. The wind blew softly moving my auburn hair out of my face, it feels peace now that all the violence and deaths are over. But the lies and betrayal is still deep locked in and won't forgive or forget. Some of the demon elves are dead some of them ran off after Cyan, my father was dead, we don't know where they will be, but we know they won't be bothering us any time soon.

"Clarity" I looked up at the sound of my name being called out. I look up seeing Saga running over with Hespeta by her side.

I smile big at the little girl who had attach to both of us. I was so scared to know if Saga was even dead during the war, she shouldn't been involved in this, but Hespeta knew me too well and kept Saga hidden.

"Saga" I said my arms out ready to embraced the little sweetheart.

She ran into my arms, and I picked her small body up wrapping my arms around her waisted and inhale her scent.

"You're okay, you're okay, you're okay" I repeat, whisper into her hearing her breathing I blinked the tears that want to pour out.

"Your alive, I knew you would be" Saga said I put her down as she look up at me with big eyes. I smile down as I stroke the side of her face moving a piece of her chestnut brown hair that fall in front of her eyes.

"You can never get rid of me, sweet girl" I said, Saga wrapped her small arms around me once again and hug me tight which I returned it. I look up and look at Hespeta seeing her relief smile on her face.

"Is everyone okay?" I asked her.

"Eldric broke his arm so Orianna and Valerian are with the healer right now" Hespeta looked down at her feet with a small smile but deep down I know she is worried about Eldric; it is obvious, and everyone can see it but them.

"And Glassandra?" I asked worried to the women that open her doors to me that nearly died last night.

"Shaken, the others know that the demon king is your father, and Morgan is your sister" Hespeta said, I bite my bottom lip looking down a bit then look back up.

"I should of knew sooner, if I said something to Glassandra about Bianca and Xav-" I cut myself off. I don't know how I be able to say his name without breaking.

"It's not your fault Clarity none of this is your fault" Hespeta said as if I was blaming myself, I know it is not my fault. It is his fault.

"What happens now?" I asked Hespeta.

I wanted to go home after I find my mother, but I don't think I can go home with who I am.

"We clean up, go back to training together, go on quests, party together, go down to the pubs, we do what we did before the chaos started" Hespeta said. The through of going back to what it used to be felt like going back in time, but I don't think it would be the same after last night.

"Clarity!" I turned my head to the side at the sound of my name being called out, my lips part open at who it was. Lucius, I did not know he was here.

"Lucius. What- I did not know you were here" I said he smile down at me.

"Hello, Luci!" Saga said waving with her little fingers and a cheeky smile on her face I laugh at her along with Lucius.

"Hello Saga" Lucius said then turned back to me. He took a hold of my arm, and we wrapped are arm around each other.

"I came to help to fight here last night" Lucius said.

"You didn't get hurt, did you?" I asked him worried if he did.

"No, I beat those demons until they were blooded dead" Lucius said proud of himself.

"Well, I'm glad you helped" I said with a tight smile written on my face.

"I heard that he is or was your father" Lucius said. My lips shut tight as I stare in silence, I want to forget him long before I did not know him.

"Well, it's good thing I'm nothing like him" I said making Lucius chuckle.

"Maybe we could have that drink down at Mire village we said we would get" Lucius said, I smile up at him liking the idea.

"Yeah, I like that very much" I said I look behind Lucius shoulder and I saw him staring at us with a pout look on his face glaring at Lucius then he look at me and I saw his eyes soften at just looking at me. But I scoff and glare at him as if I could kill him right there.

"How about later we'll go for that drink" I suggest to Lucius.

"Sounds like a plan" Lucius said smirking from ear to ear. I lean up on my tip toes and kiss my lips on Lucius who wrapped his arms around my waist but while I was kissing him my eyes stayed on him while I glare at him. I saw him chuckle and walked away. We might not have bath, but Lucius does smell good.

"Clarity!" I pulled back as I saw Morgan, Hespeta, Valerian run over to me with wide eyes.

"Oh, shit are we interrupting something?" Morgan asked realizing what we were doing. I pulled Lucius away to face the others with flatter red cheeks.

"No not at all what's wrong?" I asked moving my hair out of my face.

"We found your mother" Hespeta said.

I gasp with my lips open. They found her and she is alive like she told me. I can bring her home.
