CLARITY

Fire will burn, blood will spill, friends that you think might be foes, castles crumbling will fall, there is ash and there is bones, girl with fire will have to burn to save us all.

Those words echo in my head as in each imagine that I saw is memories in my brain. I saw elves fighting in the war, and blood, and ashes and castles crumbling to the ground, but I saw that auburn hair in my imagine. I know that auburn hair like mine, it was my mother I did not need to see a face to know it was her. She is the one who will save us all.

"Are you sure it was your mother?" Xavier asked as I warm up in the burning fire that he built in front of us. I warm my hands up. I was already back in my dress, but Xavier gave me his cloak for warmth for me even though I said no he would not allow me to freeze after being in an icy black lake at night.

"I know my mother's hair from anywhere it was her" I said.

"I mean it could be anyone else with auburn hair" Xavier said. I glare at him after he said that.

"The only people you know who have auburn hair is me; and I'm telling you my mother has auburn hair, and it is her who I saw" I pointed out.

"Okay sorry, but your define it's her?" Xavier asked me. The same question he keeps asking me keeps making me more and more annoyed I know what I saw, and I am not changing what I saw.

"I know what I saw! And that is not going to change what is going to happen" I said my eyes wide open at every word that I said.

"What was it you heard the sirens in your head say again?" Xavier asked. I sigh as I turn my head to look away and as I turn back Xavier was looking straight at me with his lips in a thine line waiting to know what they said.

"They said: Fire will burn, blood will spill, friends that you think might be foes, castles crumbling will fall, there is ash and there is bones, girl with fire will have to burn to save us all" I said. After I said each word, I look up at Xavier.

"It's a prophecy" Xavier said, my brows frown confuse what he means by that.

"What?" I asked.

"What these sirens have been telling you are not riddle songs at all. There prophecies in what might happened in the future that is going to happened" He said.

"Meaning?" I asked, Xavier sigh as he run his fingers through his messy long blonde hair.

"Look hear me for a moment. What they told you the first words are "Fire will burn" right?" He said, I nodded in response.

"So did you see fire burning in this kind of vision?" He asked. I did. I did see fire.

"Yeah! Yeah, I did" I said while nodding in along.

"So did you see "blood will spill" as well?" He asked yet again. There was, it was everywhere what I saw, and it made me want to throw up.

"A lot. Everywhere" I said then I gasp.

"I think your right for once. "Friends that you think will be foes" I saw our friends and the demon elves. And Mireworth Fortess was on fire and crumbling" My eyes grew big at my words each that I told, my lips were apart.

"The war is coming" He said. He is right, I might not agree with him with sometimes but this, this is real and is happening.

"We need to tell Glassandra what we know" I said.

Xavier look around, it was really dark out, you could hear the night owls out and the stars and the moon out.

"We will but it is late we need to find shelter tonight; we don't know if the demon elves are out here" Xavier said we never thought about this all we worried is finding answers.

"Where? It's pitch black and the only thing keeping from freezing is this fire" I said rubbing my arms together, the fire is helping a bit but not a lot I can feel my lips tumbling out in the cold.

"I know a place" He said. Does he now?

"Do you trust me?" He asked me.

"No" I said. I still don't trust him even when we have to work together. He chuckle after I said that.

"Same old thing" He then stand up as I look up at him.

"Come on, I know a cottage close by" He said. If it means staying warm inside, then I will go. But it doesn't mean I still don't trust him.
