He Must Be My Old Friend

'MUST' siguro, marami sa inyo ang nag akala na ang 'He Must Be My Old Friend' ay tunog, "Baka siya ang dating kong kaibigan." To be honest I made that on purpose, since the original plot is about a man leaving his old friend behind and pretending he doesn't remember her at all (I'm still planning to continue that as a short story, but I don't know). But I realized that MUST have two meanings. It can be used to replace 'Might' or as a modal verb of obligation 'Must' used when the speaker is the one who's giving the obligation.

Since Epilogue is Akisha's POV, I decided to change MUST into a modal of obligation. Since it is a 'standard or ideal guy question' and Aki is the one being questioned, as if it's a rule to be her ideal type, then I guess Aki sets her obligation now :)).

Ang tagal kong natapos ano? Pasensya na po kayo. As of the moment na natapos ko ito, 14 years old pa lang po ako turning 15, so I wrote this back when I was 12/13 years old. Complicated po kasi masyadong maraming plot holes and I tried my best na matapalan ang mga butas na iyon kaya kung may mga hindi man po ako nasagot sa story, you can ask me and approach me since it's a raw and unedited version po (may in-edit naman po ako pero minor revision lang po, baka next time ko pa ma-Major Revision). I'm too young to write kiss scenes at medyo nahihiya ako kasi ang dami no'n! Kaya sorry na po kaagad kung nagsulat ako ng ganoong scene, and also violent scenes!

I also wanted to say thank you to all the people who have supported me since day one especially my friends here and outside of this platform, and my cousins.

And of course, makakalimutan ko ba namang hindi mag thank you sa dahilan kung bakit nagsimula ang He Must Be My Old Friend? Sa sarili ko, of course thank you—

But that's not it! I actually dedicated this story to my 'crush' when I was in seventh grade, at hindi ko yata kayang ipabasa ito sa kaniya knowing how many cringe and clingy scenes Kyle and Aki have! But if he will, then wala na akong magagawa kung mabasa mo man ito, Kyle ****** Hernandez!

To tell you a secret, parang naging gayuma ko nga ang HMBMOF kasi sa tuwing nagsusulat ako ng story, nagpaparamdam 'yong real life Kyle Hernandez 😞 kaya umasa ang batang ako HAHAHA!

But this story is purely fictional. Walang anything na related sa akin at sa real life Kyle Hernandez ang nangyari dito. I just used his name and dedicated this to him. He knows na gumagawa ako ng story at ginamit ko ang name niya since I asked for his permission. Pero I don't know kung nasaan na siya o kung natatandaan niya pa ba ako at itong story na ito, pero I just hope he's doing well. Thank you, Kyle Hernandez. Ngayon magmo-move on na talaga ako, promise! 😅😆
