"Stefan, you told me to channel all my emotions in one single feeling."- Elena says.

"I realize that. I just figured it would be love, hope and compassion, not unwavering hatred for a ruthless vampire 500 years older than you!"

"Well, you wanted to kill Klaus when you got your emotions back"

"I know and I couldn't"

"You don't think I can kill Katherine?"-Elena said.

"I don't really think you want to."- Stefan retorts.

"Maybe you are right. Maybe I just want to feel the warmth of her chest cavity as I rip her heart out and watch her face as she realizes I took it from her"

Hours later

"Your rage is making you crazy...look at yourself...this is not about Katherine! This is about Jeremy! What do you think that killing her would take all the pain away? It want...there are no shortcuts, Elena. You have to face your grief!"

Those words thundered in Elena's head as she got out of the caves. It all ripple inside of her, but anger just ran as the prime feeling and wasn't letting go.

She now walked up to Jeremy's grave. She slouched down.

"Huh...I give up, Jer... I really wanted to kill her for you...there's no point...Stefan was right, it's just a distraction. I can't...I can't do this... I can't move on... everything is a mess...I can't handle you being gone...everything...all those feelings...it's like if I do... I would be betraying you... and it just is not right... and him...why her...why is SHE always there...taking all away from me????"- Elena cried.

All of a sudden a voice quite familiar to her said- "Hello, old friend."

Elena looked up and in her horror saw Kol, who didn't wait for a second to swing at her. Elena fell on the foor, but quickly got up raging back at the Original vampire, not understing how he could be there. Then it dawned on her that the veil must have been lifted. One second of distraction gave Kol the upper hand and he now took her by the neck holding it tight. Elena could hardly breath and she thought that maybe it was good that this was the end. All would be over and she would be with her loved ones again.

"Go ahead Kol and kill me...you will do me a favour!"- she spat as she felt his hand squeezing tighter.

"As you wish, darling!"- Kol said and as he wanted to snap Elena's neck he felt a painful hit in his arm.

"How many times do I have to kill you?"- a very familiar voice said in a cold manner.

Kol turned and Jeremy now pulled a trigger and arrow flew over to Kol and just as nearly hit his chest, Elijah appeared kicking Kol who flew across a few headstone pinning him on the floor.

"Enough!! For once in your miserable existance you WILL behave!"- Elijah said in his calm and yet very persuasive manner. Kol could see the vampiric amber in Elijah's eyes that he meant business.

Not far from them, Elena and Jeremy stood still for a secon not fully aware what went off.

"Jer?" The doppelganger then uttered and the two syblings hugged one another warmly. Elena's unstable emotions juggled up and all of a sudden they seemed to be at peace. Love overriding all negative ones.

Stefan appeared happy seeing Jeremy and Elena reunited. He then glanced surprised at Elijah and Kol having their brotherly moment together.

'And then you wonder why Klaus had daggered you to sleep!'Elijah now read the riot act.
