"We have Elena Gilbert"- a vampire confidante walked to Elijah, who was gazing outside the window into the night. He turned to the vampire continuing to listen to the full briefing-"we left her in the cellar as you had instructed".
"Thank you"- Elijah then said taking hold of the vampire compelling him to forget all he had done and seen.
"Now go back to your family"- Elijah said to the man, who left the place not understanding what was doing there. Elijah then went down to the cellar, who resembled more a secluded room.

There he stood in front of her coffin. Her coffin.
"You are safe now"- Elijah muttered as he opened it.

" I will forever look after you."- Elijah said-"no one will harm you again."
He then took her out of the coffin covering her up in a blanket and carried her out into the night to a location only known to him.

Upon arrival to her new abode he laid her on the bed covering her up, and looking at her for a moment as all the memories of their times together rushed through.
