"Elena...?!"- Elijah exclaimes slightly as he saw her walk in the Mikaelson house.

"Elijah..."- she says almost as a greeting. She smiles a little.

"It's been quite some time..."- he says his eyes smiling.

"Yes...catch up?!"- she says as if it is a invitation.

"I suggest we take a walk?"- he says.

She nods and they walk out of the building.

"You first..."- she says as they walk on in an unknown direction.

"Oh...What is there to say you knowit all..."- he says slightly chuckling in a nervous manner as if embarrased.

"About you not being yourself?...Been there, remember?!..."- she says sweetily.

"Thank you!!"- he stops looking at her in a very serious fashion.

"No need to thank..."

"If it wasn't for your compassion..."- he said and then went quiet.

Flashback

"Nik...I have discovered that he had just killed a bunch of people unecessarily...this is not something random anymore..."- Rebekah said to Klaus.

"I know... I have been covering this up for... a while now..."

"She damaged him...it's like he forgets who he really is...like he can't control anymore whether his emotions are switched or not... I couldn't stop him...when he started...it was killing for killing sake..."- Rebekah shared the last episode she had witnessed.

"She won't help"- Klaus said-"and I don't know any other witch that could undo what Esther had done."

"We do...but she might not want to help us...you are right"- Rebekah said.

"Who?..."- Klaus looked at his sister puzzled.

"The Bennett witch...Bonnie Bennett...she is well versed in Expression..."- Rebekah said.

Klaus was quiet for a moment. Never in his wildest dreams could have imagined that one day he will need the witch or one of the Mystic Falls lot to help his next of kin.

"She won't help us..."- Klaus said.

"Maybe...if...huh...maybe one person could ask her to do it"- Rebekah said.

"Are we supposed to play a guessing game now?!"- Klaus raised his voice annoyed.

"Elena."- Rebekah said.

Klaus looked at his sister as if she said a name that showed a bit of sunshine in.

"He has done so much for you, Nik...you can do this... I can do this... I am ready to beg if I have to...I cannot watch him in this state...and I am not willing to dagger him to sleep forever..."

"You know we can't dagger him...Kol destroyed the last of the daggers..."

"Nor do I want him to stay chained in the cellars.... I am going to Mystic Falls...and I will beg if I have to..."- Rebekah now shouted.

*****Present time

"Klaus having to ask Bonnie politely...was something we all wanted to film for posterity!"- Elena says.

"I think this was one the hardest things he ever had to do!"- Elijah remarks- "She did it because of you..."

They don't speak for a moment. He can hear her heartbeat that beats like a sweet drum.
