At last, clarity returned to his senses amidst the onslaught. A few demons closed in, while Keevin and Atlas orchestrated a deadly dance of defense. Keevin spotted a colossal giant charging toward them and shouted, "Look out!"
A grin spread across Keevin's face. "Easy peasy." He leapt skyward, his voice weaving a spell that sent swords flying, severing the demons' heads. Yet, to his astonishment, the giant continued its advance, headless but undeterred.
Keevin's eyes widened as the giant multiplied before him. "Oh, they can multiply." The lone adversary now became fifty towering threats. "Very well," Keevin murmured. With outstretched palms, he summoned the weight of the heavens, darkening the sky as if rain were imminent. Atlas trembled as he sensed the immense power at play.
A few raindrops fell, the sky itself trembling. "Let the light judge your sin," Keevin intoned, directing a bolt of lightning that cleaved through the giants, leaving them to crumble in death. "Their weakness is clear," Keevin thought to himself, recognizing the efficacy of celestial magic against such foes.
Atlas marveled at Keevin's display. "Never cross my husband, you demons," he declared. "Now, it's my turn." With a few raindrops as witness, Atlas assumed his battle stance, drawing water from the sky into a colossal mass above his head. With a thunderous clap, he shaped the water into a torrential wave that swept away the demons before him.
"PAKKKKK," Keevin reached Atlas' side, their backs now united. They exchanged a brief glance, their resolve firm as they resumed their relentless assault on the demon horde.
"How many more are there?" Atlas exclaimed amidst the fray.
"Tired already?" Keevin teased.
"Not a chance," Atlas replied with a grin. "Just a few more, and this will be over."
And so, side by side, they fought on.
Meanwhile, Myles and Leonard, alongside government soldiers, battled valiantly against the demonic onslaught. Yet, a chilling presence began to pervade the air, unsettling them all.
"What power is this?" Myles whispered, his face betraying fear and uncertainty.
