Atlas and Keevin faced a relentless onslaught of lower demons, each kill undone by their unceasing respawn. Atlas chanted spells with fervor, while Keevin’s sword danced through the air, cleaving through the demonic tide. Yet, exhaustion began to weigh on them, their mana dwindling from the continuous battle.

“We need to be quick. Leonard’s team needs our help,” Keevin urged, his voice strained.

“Yeah, I can't sense their mana like I did three minutes ago,” Atlas replied, worry etching his features. They exchanged a determined glance and clasped hands.

“UNISON RAID!” they chanted in unison. A shimmering water barrier enveloped them, from which swords emerged, flying and striking down the demons with lethal precision.

Atlas collapsed to the ground, panting. “Huh, I’m exhausted.”

“It’s not over yet,” Keevin reminded him. “You can rest for a while now.”

Atlas lay down, allowing his mana to slowly recover. He glanced at the bracelet his father had given him, murmuring, “I hope I never have to use this.” Keevin noticed the small cuts on Atlas’s hands and frowned.

“Hey, I told you to be careful!” Keevin scolded.

“Oops, I didn’t even realize I had cuts!” Atlas responded with a sheepish grin. Keevin took his hand, gently touching the wounds, and chanted, “Vitalis Eina.” The cuts healed instantly.

“It’s just a small cut. Why worry?” Atlas teased.

Keevin, looking annoyed, retorted, “Your body is mine. I don’t want a single scratch on it, unless I’m the one who bites it.”

Atlas blushed and stammered, “Hey, I was just joking!”

“And I’m not!” Keevin said with a mischievous grin, leaning closer.

Their lips met in a warm kiss, a brief solace amidst the chaos. “I love you, Keevin,” Atlas whispered, his fingers caressing Keevin’s ear and face.

“I love you more, Atlas,” Keevin replied, kissing his forehead. They shared another tender kiss.

Suddenly, a tingling in Keevin’s ears alerted him. His reflexes sharpened, he stood up and brandished his sword, slicing through an invisible wind.

“Well, well, look who it is. An elf.” The voice was sinister, chilling. Demon Lord Thanatos emerged from the shadows.

Keevin’s eyes locked onto the silhouette with fierce intensity, a burning desire to kill reflected in his gaze. “Demon Lord, Thanatos,” he growled, readying himself for the battle that lay ahead.
