"Tell me, what does someone like you want from these corners?" the Twi'lek whispered, making you and your company turn heads.
You looked up at your former master, waiting for him to answer the Twi'lek. It's been years since you had been knighted, and surpassed your master, still you found yourself leaning on his guidance. Perhaps your admiration of your Master was what blinded you. At least, that was how it felt in this moment, now that Master Sol had led you into this dirty, loud and bratty brothel, full of beautiful twi'lek women who stood in brash contrast to the club.
"We do not mean to disturb, we are here with good intentions," Master Sol answered with such easy breeze.
The twi'lek looked suspicious of his answer, even master sol's light tone could not convince her we we're here out of good will. She looked around, it was a full house and with the clientele that this kind of house took in, likely many criminals. However, you were only here seeking answers of one.
Two months ago, a unfamiliar relic had found its way to the Jedi temple, causing spiral down the order of what the relic truly was. Master Yoda wise as he could be, understood that what they had found, was simply just one part of the relic. Meaning the other half was out there somewhere. Master Vernestra had tasked Master Sol to gather a team of his own to look for this other half. The team involved you, Yord Fandar and Jecki Lon the current padawan of Master Sol.
"My apologies, but we are full - I'll help you out," The twi'lek said, trying to push forward a smile, as she laid a hand on your master's back.
"Please, we'll pay nicely," Master Sol explained, playing his last cards.
The twi'lek took a step away, intrigued by your former master's suggestion. You smiled weakly, you could feel her doubt grow. It was strange how people could be so eaisly corrupted by some credit. You noticed the Twi'leks eye move from the crowd to you. Her eyes not afraid of locking eye contact as she looked you up and down slowly. Her arm lifted in your direction, pointing over to you.
"We'll let her in, alone" The twi'lek said.
"No, she will not go in alone" It only took seconds before Yord interfered, placing a hand in front of you.
You looked up at Yord with a slight annoyance. You knew he meant well, and were simply following protocol, but he was hindering the mission. You didn't need to read his mind, to understand that he - just like you, understood why the the Twi'lek wanted you in here. The majority of the crowd were men this evening, while you were not. Jecki was still just a child, you were a grown women. They needed you to balance the crowds.
"I'll do what you think is best, Master" You were never fully able to erase the memory of calling Sol your Master. In your eyes, he would always be.
"We work as a team," Master Sol said, looking up from the two of you to the Twi'lek.
She simply laughed at him, washing confusion over Yord and Master Sol's face.
"You give me the credit, and she'll be allowed to stay under certain conditions," she repeated.
