Finally, you could feel air fill your lungs, as you drastically woke up, sitting straight up. Your chest moved at a fast pace, as you tried to gather yourself. The last few seconds, minutes, or hours... you had lost all perspective of time, all you knew was that it all felt like a giant black hole. It was not like a good night's sleep, it felt haunting. You had fought for every moment in the darkness to see the light, like a war.

"You need to rest," You suddenly heard a voice beside you say, as he laid a hand on your chest as he gently laid you down. Your eyes caught his, as his darkness wanted to drown you in. It was Qimir.

You immediately pushed yourself back on the mattress, head hitting a rock. Your eyes wide as you look around, desperately trying to locate yourself. You were in a cave, the rocks felt cold against your skin. The only revelation of time you had, was the daylight shining in and there at last. Qimir was leaning down to your level, with some sick twisted form of care for you hiding behind his eyes. You felt your hands were shaking, where was your Master and friend? Why were you here? Where were you even? Your eyes fell onto Qimir, when he tried to lift your head away from the rock. You immediately jumped up, distancing yourself from him.

"What, what, are you doing?" Your voice was shaking, you weren't able to stabilize yourself. You didn't even notice that you're head was bleeding after hitting the rock. God, your clothes were different than what you remembered wearing. They were dark. Black. Your hands felt the tips of the new fabric. What was going on?

"Hey, hey, hey, look at me," Qimir raised his voice, waving his hand over to you. He stood up, but made sure he kept his distance and stood lower. Due to your abilities with shielding yourself, he had no idea of what went on the inside, but on a pure human level, he saw that you were panicking. Slowly, your eyes fell into his. This was not the Jedi, it was you... Y/n.

"I brought you here, cause you passed out, at the temple, this is my home," He explained, he watched as you nodded desperately, absorbing his information, then your face twitched. Something changed. He sensed you tried to reach out into the force, but you were too weak.

"Sol-Master Sol, where is Master Sol and Yord, did you- did you kill-" Your hands began to shake again.

Qimir looked down to the ground. He didn't. That would be the simple and truthful way of answering your question, but... that was for now. He would need to. They had seen his face. It was only a matter of time when, but telling you this now in your state would only traumatize you further. Qimir was many things, but he never lied. He lifted his gaze up to you, hair falling slightly in front of his face.

"I did not, but I will," He explained.

Your heart was pounding, he said the word so easily. Taking someone's life should never be that easy. Few minutes ago you were grateful to be breathing again, now you don't mind feeling how the air just got thinner by his words. That's when a new thought kicked in. Jecki. Oh may the force guide the child into peace. Qimir had killed her. You're eyes shut. In your head you could hear her scream. It got louder and louder. You desperately moved your hands over your ear, trying to block out the sound, but it kept ringing. Y/n, she shouted, your name was her last words.

"You killed Jecki!" You screamed, pure heart wrenching.

Without even thinking, without fear, you ran over to him and began to hit him, and within only seconds he grabbed your hands, and sat down on his knees forcing you down to his level. He looked into your eyes. He believed he saw tears rolling down. You were being... Emotional. He let go of your arms, as he wrapped them around your body, holding you close in a hug. He didn't care if you hit him, without the force, they felt like a gentle massage. He let one hand go at the back of your head, holding it over. He focused himself as he healed your wound.

Shortly after, your arms fell to the ground as you stopped hitting him. He could hear how your breathing, even though sobbing, slowly stabilized yourself. He didn't let go, even after tears stopped dancing from your precious face. He wanted to hold you. He closed his eyes, confident that one day he would regret saying these words out loud.

"Thank you for saving me," He whispered.
