You stood by the carrier, tip toeing. You were surrounded by other Jedi, most of them council members, but your heart was only in one place. It was hanging on the ship that was slowly landing. You had no idea if Qimir would truly take the journey from the island to the temple. More than anyone standing here on the platform, you understood why he would choose not to. This was a place where a lot of his horror's began, at the same time - this was where you were. Unlike Elzar, you were not sure if 'you' were enough to get the man here. You could only hope he was right.

The ship landed, and your heart beat louder than before. The gate slowly opened. This was the moment of truth, and you weren't sure if you were ready for the answer. Everyone had lined up, after rank, as you did in the Order. You stood furtherest away, even if you were closest to the people coming off that ship. Out first stepped Grand Master Gios, who waved his hand, but did not give away an expression. He walked down the gate, as a dark tall man appeared. It was him. It was Qimir. He was here, he was no longer a fantasy of your imagination.

It took everything in you to not run towards him and embrace him, but you knew your place, and you knew you had to stand still. Elzar came out closely behind him. They walked off the gate, onto the platform. Slowly making their way towards the gathering. You lowered your gaze, looking down at the ground. You knew you weren't really allowed to engage in these greetings. The only reason you were allowed, today, was because you were the one who would guide said person in the force. Even though your eyes had not met, you could feel his gaze upon your skin. He felt different, warmer.

"May the force be with you," You heard Stellan say to the council, as he stepped to the side.

They repeated the words to him. Usually you would say them too, but you were quiet as you again knew you weren't supposed to be here.

"We have with us Qimir, a former member of the Order - that we failed," Stellan continued.

You could sense in the force that Elzar also held his head down. It is something odd when you're so awfully aware that you did not belong in a group. You could only imagine how much Qimir despised the attention he was given. You so desperately wanted to look up at him, but desperation were not a part of being a Jedi. Only peace. So your eyes were still down. Stellan spoke of how we all needed to forgive Qimir for his wrong doings, as we stepped forward. It was not the way of the Jedi to hold a grudge.

"Now, he has been granted asylum on Courscant, in our temple, where Master Y/n will be training him in the way of the force,"  He stated, now his eyes, as well as most of the Councils were on you.

"Master Y/n, will you step forward?" He asked, but you knew it was an order. Of course, you did as he wished.

Your heart was awfully aware of the fact that you stood right across from Qimir, but you tried to keep your cool. You were going to show the whole council that you could play by the Jedi book, and be calm. After all, you used to be this way. It was not too difficult to find your way back. Having Qimir here did not mean that you were going to run into his arms, like a little girl. You were better than that. Better than what they thought of her. You understood exactly what they tried to hinder between you with putting guards outside your chambers.

"Y/n do you take the challenge upon guiding Qimir through the light?" Stellan asked.

"I do, Grand Master Gios," You addressed him by his full name.

"Qimir, will you have your heart and mind open for the force?" Stellan asked him.

"I will," Qimir finally spoke, and you had never been more grateful your head was facing the ground as you felt yourself getting emotional of hearing his voice again. This was almost like getting wed, with the way Stellan phrased the questions. It was ridiculous, but you knew it was protocol. Stellan explained that Qimir was going to be shown his chambers, and then be shown to your new shared work space. He informed you to meet Qimir there. Without questioning it, you began to walk, with Elzar on your side, into the temple.
