"We can't let him kill him," you shouted over to Yord. He gave you a nod. You had a mutual understanding of what was required of each other.
"I'll take care of Master Sol, you cover The Stranger," He shouted.
By the time you reached them, they were already fighting. Qimir must had predicted that Master Sol would come back, but he seemed surprised to see you there. In full force, you ran towards them. In between their lightsabers, you and Yord positioned yourself back to back. You stared into Qimir's dark eyes. The eyes that once used to make you feel warm. A welcoming darkness. The darkness that you see before you dream. You tried to push back, and with the force on your side, you were able too.
Your sabers crashed, as your bodies swang with the will of the force. Qimir had never faced a Jedi with such an aggressive form, where most Jedi would protect, you attacked. You were focused, not emotional, making him sharper, but not sharp enough. You lifted up your arm, and pushed him with the force to the ground, kicking his lightsaber out of his hand, placing your foot at the top of his chest. Qimir found himself impressed, he couldn't lie about it. And when you lifted your lightsaber, pointing it towards him, he was tempted to see your next move.
"Y/n!" You suddenly heard Yord shout in warning, making you lose focus, as you turned your gaze around to see your master storming towards you. You immediately turned your lightsaber around, in a protective position and with the other hand held Qimir down with the force.
"You cannot kill him!" You screamed, looking up to your old master through your lightsaber.
"What if it was you, she was my padawan, my responsibility!" He shouted, you could feel the force pushing you down, as you tried to protect Qimir. It was just a matter of time before you would break.
"But she was not me, and she died fighting for the Jedi, don't let her death go to vain!" You shouted. You could feel your eyes tearing up. Not because of your emotions, but of how much pressure your body was going through. You needed for him to back down, come to his senses.
"Don't protect him!" Master Sol shouted, before he unexpectedly hit your lightsaber with twice the weight. You couldn't hold it anymore. You let go off the hand holding Qimir down, as you lifted it and pointed towards your old Master trying to fight his strength, but you couldn't. When Master Sol lifted his lightsaber again, and hit your's, your whole body fell down to the ground as you slowly lost your consciousness. You gathered your finale last energy focusing on Yord.
Get out him out. May the force be with you.
The last memory you had, was Qimir's hands going around you, before the lights faded and the darkness embraced you.
