Elzar could feel the sweat, from his forehead, slowly drip down. The man couldn't hide it anymore. He was exhausted, but grateful to be back home on Coruscant. The Council had begun to send him on way more missions on other planets than before. Though he didn't mind it as that gave him more room to do his own experiments with the force, he couldn't help but notice the suspicious timing of when all these missions had finally come his way. It couldn't be a coincidence, it all happened now that you and Qimir were on Coruscant full-time.

"You need a shower, my friend," Master Gios laughed, welcoming his friend back, alone on the platform.

Elzar and Gios had been friends for years, and though he adored his friend and his achievements becoming a Grand Master, to Elzar, Gios was still just his buddy. It felt better, more natural that way. It was easy to be friends with Gios, because the two of them never really had to speak out about anything. Gios would just know. That was his whole thing. Most Jedi, will have a particular skill set within the field. Gios had the unique ability to read people's emotions, not thoughts, but emotions. It was a major difference between the two of them. Knowing someone's feelings made Gios good at reading people on a purely human level to connect the dots himself. Elzar knew Gios already knew about his feeling for Y/n, and Y/n feelings for Qimir and him. Not even you could hide from him. What had made Elzar curious is how he didn't seem to mind Elzar's feelings, until recently.

"I would have time to shower, if you didn't send me around on missions all the time," Elzar gave Gios a little wink with his eye. Again, not mad, simply pointing out what his friend was doing. It was not like he could try to even hide his emotions from Gios anyway. Gios shrugged as he lightly rolled his shoulders.

"Don't act like you don't like it," Gios smiled, clapping his friend on his shoulder.

Elzar looked over his shoulder at Gios hand. The two of them were not strangers of physical touch, still it felt odd in this situation. It felt rather like a warning than a welcoming embrace. It felt like Gios was telling Elzar what to feel, rather than sensing his true emotions. A light smile grew on his lips before he moved forward, feeling Gios hand fall off his shoulder.

"I better go," Elzar hushed out, walking towards the door.

"Where?" Gios questioned.

"You said I needed a shower?" Elzar laughed, not even turning as he spoke.

"Elzar, be careful," Gios suddenly said, causing Elzar to turn around.

Be careful? Elzar was used to Gios many lessons and horrible use of metaphors, but this was different. It was the warning he had felt coming from Gios, being said loud. It was no longer just in his head. It was a shared truth. Something neither could ignore. Elzar took a deep breath as his hands rested onto his waist, studying his friend in his fancy golden framed cape.

"We don't know what is at risk," Gios continued.

Elzar lifted his chin. He understood exactly what Gios meant by it. Gios didn't want him around Y/n. A smirk grew on Elzar's lips. Why did Gios choose to invest his time into what, Elzar's private life? Yes they were friends, best of friends, but this was the Jedi speaking. The Grand Master. Why would he have an opinion about a singular Master's life? They were above it, or at least they acted like it.
