This week had been nothing but exhausting. Elzar and you had been talking to any Jedi Master alive during the timeframe of when Qimir could've been a padawan, and neither of you felt any wiser. Deep down, you had a feeling on Vernestra, but you weren't sure if you really thought it was her or wished it was her. If it was her, it meant you could get rid of her. After how she'd been behaving towards you since the station incident, it wouldn't be the worst idea. Now, you were about to embark on your least preferable quest, speaking to Sol.

"I don't want to do it," you pouted

Elzar laughed as he playfully patted your behind, to get in the room.

"Sometimes grownups have to do things they don't like," He teased you.

You looked up at him, shocked by how physical he was being with you all of a sudden. The two of you were in the middle of the temple. Jedi were walking by constantly. If any of them saw you, it would at best just be whispers, at worst, you'd be called to stand in front of the council. Still, a piece of your heart couldn't help but laugh and enjoy his playfulness.

"Hey, Elzar we're in public," You whispered, laughing.

Really, you out of all people were going to act coy with him. Elzar lifted his eyebrow at you. He really couldn't care less what people said about him. He had spent decades being the strange one, and he could spend decades more. What he did care about was you, and your sudden coy personality. He smirked, and pulled you in by your waist, holding you close to him.

"Aha," He said with ease.

"Your going to get us in trouble," You laughed, placing a hand on his chest.

Elzar let your body push up against the wall. His forehead resting against yours. Your laughter was so rich, he could listen to it all day. He wrapped his other hand around your waist. It was no way for you to go, but he sensed that you were more than alright with it. He looked deep into your eyes.

"Okay Master, what are you going to do about it?" his voice was playful.

Playfully, he let his nose touch yours, before his lips crashed into yours. You had no idea what had fallen into Elzar mind, and even though it was both insane and stupid, you couldn't help yourself but to kiss him back. It was something so enticing, thrilling. Your hands wrapped around his face, his lips competing with yours for dominance, and for the first time, he was winning.

Suddenly, Elzar heard footsteps in your direction, and before he even had time to think about it, you pushed him off you to the other side, hitting the wall. He watched as your cheeks turned pink, trying to greet the passerby. Elzar couldn't help but smirk. You looked helpless, but in an adorable way. Elzar gave the passerby a slight nod before walking back over to you, who suddenly now looked like a tomato. He peaked a kiss of your lips, and let his hand rest on your behind.

"Now go and show Master Sol what you're really made of," Elzar teased, squeezing your behind.

The man was insane, but somehow, his insanity made you like him more and more. You gave him a nod, and tried to focus your mind. You knew this wasn't going to be pleasant, but like Elzar had just said, sometimes grown-ups have to do things they don't want to. You took a deep breath and opened the door to the Younglings room. In the middle of the learning space, Sol stood. The kids looked up at him like he was a star.

You remembered when you used to look at Sol the same way as the children. A piece of you missed feeling that way about Sol. No matter how angry you were at him, he was still your Master. Not Master only as in a rank, but he was your Master raising you up and you were his Padawan. It will always be something special between a Padawan and it's Master. Sol suddenly caught you in his sight, and began to walk over to you in the middle of the session. You looked at him surprised, as he took your hand, guiding you to the front of the children.

"This is Master Y/n, she used to be my Padawan" Master Sol explained.

"But she is so big now!" Shouted a Twi'lek, in dark, beautiful blue skin. You laughed low, and leaned down to their height.

"At heart, I'm still just a little girl," you teased them, making the whole class laugh.

"Okay everyone, take a break, let me talk to my old student," Master Sol said, guiding them all away.

You turned to face him. It was nice seeing him with the children. He seemed lighter, the last moments you had spent with Master Sol, he seemed darkened. Something changed him on the mission. He and Master Yord came out as different people after the test of the force by the Sith temple. You hadn't dared to ask him what happened, but maybe today would be the day.

"Master," You spoke softly, holding your head down as he came walking back to you.

"Master," He suddenly said back, holding the same position.

Huh, that was strange. You could feel a sudden warmth fill you up. Many of the people in the temple had avoided calling you by your new proper rank, so hearing your own Master say the words feel special. Like a true full circle moment. You closed your eyes and smiled.

"You know why I am here," You opened your eyes to look at him.

"I do," He said, his voice was softer than what you remembered. It was like the voice you grew up with, safe and warm. He had been so cold over the last few months.

"I need you to tell me why you lied to the council, why you left me for hanging," You crossed your hands, the robe filling up your figure. His face went to the ground.

"Me and Master Yord believed the best thing we could do was to lessen the chances of entertaining the Stranger," He said.

"Qimir, his name is Qimir," You repeated, your eyes drilling into his head.

"We didn't want to build a stage for Qimir, if we minimized him and secured stability we thought that was best," Master Sol's eyes finally looked into yours.

"Didn't work so well for Yord did it?" You asked him.

Master Sol got silenced, uncomfortable with your question.

"We did what we thought was best," Master Sol repeated like a broken sound machine.

"You wanted to leave me, in the chokehold of a murder on Tatooine, rather than trying to save me!" You shouted out, and suddenly you found yourself feeling like a lonely little hurt padawan again.
