"She is alive, Master Yoda, I just need permission to-" Elzar began speaking in front of the whole council.

"Permission will not be granted, need to find out what happened we did," Grand Master Yoda spoke, nodding his head toward Master Vernestra.

"We both saw what happened, she disappeared, out of thin air in his arms," Elzar formed his hand into a fist, not able to hide his frustration.

The council was a ridged place, with ridged people. It no longer helped that he had friends in the council, not when Vernestra spoke against him. Elzar didn't understand why she had gained such respect within the council, or the Order for that matter. She was stuck up, and unable to lead with a heart. Perhaps it was exactly that which granted her that respect, her lack of emotions. Still, a Jedi should be compassionate, and she owned no bone of compassion.

"What we saw was her escaping together with The Masked man," Vernestra said, with an attitude like she was correcting Elzar. He tightened his jaw.

"Someone who is escaping together, doesn't get thrown up against the wall to an extant that they pass out. She was attacked and kidnapped," Elzar looked back up at the council.

"I know this is not my place," Suddenly, Jedi Knight Bell spoke up, your former Padawan. He stood in the back together with Master Sol, who had aided him after arriving at Courruasnt. Everyone got silent, as he stepped up, walking over to Master Elzar Mann.

"But Master Elzar is correct. We all saw her being thrown and taken away," Bell couldn't stop his voice from slightly shaking.

Bell had always been the stereotypical, good, lawful Jedi. It was something he had learned from you. Often you spoke about holding your head down, and the Order would award you, and he couldn't deny it had some truth to it. Bell always felt like you spoke from your own experience, warning him to not follow in your path. You were loud, compassionate and righteous. All values Bell personally admired, but understood that some, and with saying some he meant most, in the order had a problem with. However, today he had to break his promise to you, hold his head high and speak loudly for you. Bell could not watch your name be tarnished, not after everything you had done for him.

"She protected me," his voice got clearer.

Elzar looked down at the young man beside him. You had without a doubt raised a great Jedi. Elzar could sense that your little Jedi was nervous, which made him even the prouder that he chose to speak up. Two against one was hard for the council to ignore, even if the one was Master Vernestra. Elzar looked back up at the masters, who were all looking at each other. Most of them were in doubt, and he couldn't even blame them, but he begged the force they would listen to reason.

"The bond between a Master and their Padawan is strong," Master Gios spoke up, studying Bell. Master Gios had always been fond of him, he was a good knight.

"Tell me Bell, when you close your eyes, and look back at what happened, what do you see?" Master Gios questioned.

Bell closed his eyes and reached out to the force. Even in the most gruesome moments, the sun was shining on Naboo. He remembered walking over to the dead body. It was the Padawan who had attacked him. His eyes twitched, as his visions of you appeared.
