"Yes, Eun-Yoo, I know."

"And you will stay away from danger."

"I will."

"And you won't try to play a hero for other survivors."

"I won't play a hero."

"And you'll come back as soon as you find-"

"My mom, yes."

"And you won't sacrifice yourself-"

"Grumpy, I think Hae-Rin understood everything." Min-Seok chipped in, interrupting Eun-Yoo's strict voice. "I don't think she needs any more lecturing."

Eun-Yoo turned to look at him with a cold glare before taking a step closer to him as if to intimidate him.

"You will keep her safe." Eun-Yoo said.

Not a question, but a statement.

"Of course I will." Min-Seok nodded.

Eun-Yoo sighed.

Hae-Rin, though, she tried not to smile too hard.

With a smile tugging at her lips, Hae-Rin reached towards Eun-Yoo and pulled her in a hug, wrapping her arms around her head while Eun-Yoo's went around her waist.

"I'll be fine." Hae-Rin promised her. "As soon as I find my mom, I'll be back. Plus, big guy's with me, so I'll be okay."

Eun-Yoo nodded against her neck, tightening the hug in the process.

"Stay safe, please." Eun-Yoo muttered.

All the sterness and coolness in her voice was gone.

Now remained only her worry, her care.

Now only remained her love.

"I'll stay safe, I promise." Hae-Rin said, kissing the crown of Eun-Yoo's head. "As long as you stay safe, too."

"Of course I'll stay safe." Eun-Yoo scoffed, pulling away to look at her. "You literally threatened Chan-Young into being my babysitter."

Chan-Young, who was standing in a corner, coughed awkwardly.
