SHOCK

Lana's POV

No matter what I do,

there is always a cloud over my head.

Maybe I should just accept the fact

that I was born under a bad sign.

I stayed in Kiel's arms for a few minutes, simply trying to regain my strength so I could walk and go upstairs to bed.

"I have to confess something, Lana."

"Hmmm?" I yawned and glanced at the clock. It's almost two in the morning.

His fingers traced circles on my back. "It's my first time too."

Napabalikwas ako at nanlaki ang mga mata. "Ha?"

He chuckled at my shocked face. Ibinaon niya ang mukha niya sa leeg ko at tumawa.

"Are you messing with me? Ikaw na kilalang babaero, virgin? I don't believe you."

Lumayo siya nang kaunti upang makita ko ang mga mata niya. "I am telling you the truth. I have never done it to anyone else before."

I thought he was just making fun of me, but he wasn't. He is genuinely being honest.

"How come your reputation says otherwise?" Simula nang makilala ko siya, kabi kabilang kwento ng mga babae niya ang narinig ko. A lot of his past flings have commented on how good he is in bed.

"It was just a façade to make me look cool. No one likes a guy who's inexperienced."

Ngumuso ako at pinagmasdan ang mukha niya. Parang hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala.

"Hindi nga? Inuuto mo lang yata ako e. When I transferred to MDU, I saw a video of you pulling a girl inside a room. Inaasar ka nila bago mo sinarado ang pintuan. What did you do with her then? Naglaro kayo ng tagu-taguan?"

Humalakhak siya at pinisil ang pisngi ko. "I won't deny that I flirted and kissed several girls before you, but when it's time to do the deed, I bail out."

Nagkasalubong ang mga kilay ko. "Bakit pinakakalat nilang may nangyari sa inyo kung wala naman pala talaga?"

"It's a win-win situation for the both of us. They get the fame for pretending they slept with me while people talk about my...skills. Boys would respect me for thinking I scored, and girls would come to me willingly, hoping for a chance to experience it themselves. Nakakatawa lang, minsan ang OA na ng mga kwento nila. Akala mo naman sobrang galing ko, kahit na ang totoo, ni daliri ko, hindi nila naranasan."

I was speechless. He seemed really good at it while we were doing it earlier.

"Pero parang alam mo naman ang ginagawa mo kanina..."

"I'm not innocent, Lana. I watch porn and listen when Rios talks about it. I guess you can say I studied it before the practical exam."

Tumawa ako nang malakas at sinampal siya nang mahina. "Ang loko mo!"

Kiel chuckled and bit my ear playfully. "Call me old school but I was saving it for someone special. I was waiting for you to come along in my life, Lana. It was worth it. Every second of it was...magical."
