Dashing Hopes and Flashing Beauty: Part 1

We now return to Ash and Serena in Alola. It's the next day in paradise. What will happen when they go out and start seeing Ash's old friends?

The next morning was one of the most wonderful Serena had ever experienced. She awoke shortly after the sun began to rise over the horizon, listening to the gentle crash of the waves on the beach. She relaxed and let her body sink into the cushy mattress beneath her. She sighed and slowly moved her arms and legs, enjoying the soft caress of the bed sheets. Alola sure was a wonderful place.

She wasn't sure how much time passed as she blissfully dozed in paradise, but the sound of the doorknob to her room slowly turning focused her attention in an instant. She kept her eyes closed and listened as the door was carefully pushed and the quiet sound of bare feet padding over the carpet entered the room. Thrills and excitement surged inside Serena's chest as she realized her man, Ash, was approaching her. She tried to remain still and appear to be sleeping, but a silly smile forced its way through her resolve and pulled at her lips.

Serena abruptly felt the edge of the mattress compress and she realized that Ash was climbing in bed with her. Her heart began to hammer and her eyes fluttered open. She turned her head and looked to her left at the man she loved so much. He was laying on his side, a wry smile on his face and an amused twinkle in his eyes. He was wearing a colorful shirt with blue-white patterns which had palm trees overlaid on it. She wondered, was he here to make love to her or did he have other ideas?!

Serena stretched her arms above her head, sighed happily and spoke in a sleepy, blissful tone. "Good morning, Ash..."

Ash chuckled and grinned. "Morning," he replied.

Serena finished her stretch and let out a feminine grunt. She relaxed her limbs and looked over at her man, waiting to see if he was going to make a move. Given all the crowds of people they'd dealt with yesterday, in the back of her mind, she was still a little leery of having sex; but if Ash put forward the idea, she wasn't going to turn him down.

Ash carefully eyed her up-and-down. His gaze tracked back up to her eyes and they shared an intense stare. After a few seconds of silence, Ash leaned forward and their lips gently pressed together. It was a lovely, soft kiss and Serena drew in a happy breath as her mouth hummed with wonderful sensations. Their lips moved and Ash moved his left hand over to caress Serena's right shoulder. They pulled apart, looked into each other's eyes once again and... Ash's stomach abruptly growled.

An embarrassed expression formed on Ash's face and Serena sniggered in a very amused fashion. The girl from Kalos sighed and sent her man a teasing smile.

"Haven't had breakfast, Ash?" she asked, playfully.

Ash grinned sheepishly and subtly shrugged his shoulders. "Uh, not yet," he said.

Serena sniggered some more and let out a loving sigh. "Let me guess, you'd like me to come and fix breakfast..." she said with a smile.

Ash looked a little guilty and pursed his lips before answering. "Well..." he said.

Serena grinned and wiggled closer to Ash. She laid down right next to him and looked up at him with pleading eyes.

"And I here I was hoping that you were going to fix me breakfast in bed..." she breathed in a teasing tone.

Ash's guilty expression became more pronounced and he let out a tense chuckle. Serena's eyebrows went up and she let out another amused sigh.

"Ohh, don't tell me... You tried to fix me breakfast in bed..." she said in a caring tone.
