"Por, can I go out with Jack ?" "Did you do your homework already ?" "Yes."
Khao put down the wooden spoon and turned to his son. He looked the fifteen-year-old in the eyes and put his hand on his hip. With raised eyebrows, he just stood there and looked at Min-Joo. "Really, por, I made them." "You said that the other day too." "But-" "Min ?" "Fine.. I didn't do the english one.." Khao nodded. "I already told you to ask me or por for help. Don't lie to me. This is about your future Min." "I know, I am sorry.."
Khao looked at his son and smiled sympathetically. "I know English isn't your strongest subject, darling. When is the homework due?" "The day after tomorrow." "Okay, you can go out with your friends, but tomorrow you will sit down with your por and do the homework together." Min-Joo's eyes lit up. "Thank you por Khao ! You're the best!" he said and hugged him. "It's fine, my darling, have fun outside. Do you still have enough money?" "I guess so." "Take 500 baht from my bag. Go buy yourself some new shoes. You need them for soccer." "Thank you por Khao." Khao smiled and when his son was finally ready and left, he heard a shrill noise from one of the rooms upstairs. He turned the heat on the stove down a bit and went upstairs. Carefully, he pushed open the door to one of the rooms and turned on the light. "Good morning, my sweetheart." he said in a gentle voice and went to the little bed to take his crying daughter in his arms. "Oh grumpy baby, did you sleep well?" the little girl sniffled and shook her head. He hugged the little girl and rocked her up and down to calm her down before finally laying her on the changing table and getting her ready. The little girl's bad mood slowly subsided and she started to giggle and grab Khaos' fingers. "Do you want to help Por cook?" he asked the two-year-old and she nodded. He picked her up from the changing table and walked downstairs with her in his arms, but on the way to the kitchen they were interrupted by the front door opening. "We're home !" First called and looked up, straight into his husband's eyes. Even after years of being together, they still felt that spark when they looked at each other. "Welcome back, Fir Fir." "Por!" called a little boy and ran to him to hug him. "Jonah, how was school, my boy?" "Great! I got the best grade in math today!" "Really? I'm proud of you, my darling." "I got the best grade in art." said another voice from behind. "Of course I'm very proud of you too, my little Dean Picasso, and now give your Por a hug." The other little boy also fell into his father's arms, giving his little sister a kiss on the head. "Now it's por Firsts turn to get a kiss from your por." First said and Khao stood up, the little girl still on his arm. First gave Khao a kiss and Khao handed the little girl to him. "Hello, my little princess." he said and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Did you sleep well, Janae?" the little girl shook her head. "No?" asked First. "No, I missed you." said the little girl and pressed herself against her father. "Do you want to come with me next time when I pick up Jonah and Dean?" the little girl nodded. "Por Khao should come too." she said. "And P'Min." "Okay, we'll go together next time." said First, smiling. "Boys, take off your shoes and start your homework." said Khao to the twins and went back into the kitchen, where First followed him with the little one. "When do the others want to be here?" "In about an hour." said Khao, turning the heat on the stove up a little.

"Hey!" Satang called and hugged Khao and First. "It seems like we haven't seen each other for years." he said and let the others in to greet their friends. "Come on guys, Khao has already prepared everything in the living room." said First and led their friends into the large room. "Uncle Khao, this is for you." Khao turned around and looked Earth and Mix's daughter Ploy in the eyes. The little girl smiled broadly at him with her tooth gap and held up a picture. "That's beautiful, thank you sweetie." he said and stroked her cheek. "She's been talking about painting you this picture for days." Earth explained and looked proudly at his daughter. "It's getting a place of honor, Ploy. I love that you included princess in this." said Khao, thinking of his little dog, that sadly passed away at the age of fifteen, a few years ago. The little girl grabbed her father's hand and finally walked with him to the others. Khaotung put the picture on the kitchen counter and smiled at it, before he himself went to the livingroom. They were all already sitting at the large table, Jonah and Dean were playing with Ploy and Arthtit - WinnySatangs son. "Khao stood in the kitchen all day." First explained proudly. "Oho, I'm excited to see what we have for dinner." Satang said. "I'm dying of hunger." "On the way here, he shared a whole bag of fruit gum with Arthit. Sometimes I have the feeling he's pregnant." Winny said, making the others laugh.
Satang stuck out his tongue and immediately heard an indignant noise from his son. "Por, you're not allowed to do that!" Said Arthit. "Did you hear that, babe? You're not allowed to do that." "Arthit is such a Por Winny child." laughed Satang. "Oh, believe me, Ploy is like that with Earth too. The two are one heart and one soul." "Same with Janae." "Well, she's actually the first child of ours that's a por First kid." First defended himself. "The twins were fixated on you from birth, oh, and I don't even need to start with Min-Joo, right?" laughed First. "Okay, okay, I admit defeat."
