🌙Cousins.

"..and then my teacher said that I had painted a very beautiful picture!" "I can hardly wait to see it, my darling." said Khaotung, who was holding the six-and-a-half-year-old boy tightly by the hand. On the way to the car, the little boy talked about his day at school, what he had played with his friends and what was planned for the next day. "Por Khao, when are uncle Winny and Uncle Satang coming back?" asked Min-Joo as Khao had just buckled the little one in. "In about a month, Min-Joo. Would you like to call them again this evening?" Min-Joo nodded quickly. Winny and Satang went travelling after their wedding and have not been in Thailand for almost half a year. They stored their furniture with their family, gave notice on their apartment and left. The plan was for them to come back in a month, look at a house and sign the contract, then travel for another three months and then be back in Thailand.Min-Joo, who was used to seeing his uncles all the time, missed them very much and constantly asked about them.

Khaotung listened attentively to his son as he babbled and laughed and talked. "Wait a moment Min, your por is calling," he said. "Okay por Khao." said the little one and looked out the window while Khaotung answered the call on the hands-free system. "Hello?" "Baby?" "Yes? Is everything okay, Fir fir?" "Lilly is in the hospital." "What?" "Fiat called, she's been having contractions since this morning and is now in the delivery room." Khaotung smiled. "Are the three of them okay?" "Lilly is tired but she's had something to eat and is sleeping a little now. The baby's heartbeat is great and Fiat is really excited but of course nervous. He's more than ready to become a father." "Did you hear that Min ? You're little cousin will be born soon." "My cousin ?" "Yes. Your aunt Lilly is about to have the baby." "Can we go visit aunt Lilly ?" He asked excited. "Not yet, but we will. Don't worry." "Babe, I need to hang up now. I have a meeting in five minutes." First said. "Okay, will you be home for dinner ?" "Yes of course. See you tonight. I love you two. Min take care of your por Khao, okay ?" "Okay Por." The kid said giggling. "We love you too Fir fir. See you later." Khao said and hung up. "Por Khao, can we get aunt Lilly some flowers ?" "You wanna buy her some flowers ?" "Yes. I have some money in my piggy bank." Khao smiled. He was touched that his son wanted to give his saved money for flowers. He wanted to pat First on the shoulder at that moment, their son was a wonderful little person. "Of course we can buy her flowers, my love." Min was happy and smiled broadly. "But you know what?" "What?" "Because you are such a loving little love, I will pay for the flowers." "Really?" Khaotung nodded. "Thank you, por Khao!"

"Is Min sleeping?" First asked his boyfriend, who had just come out of the childs room and closed the door quietly. "Yes, he's finally fallen asleep. He wanted to hear the story about the polar bear again today." "I think that's become his favorite book." "But only because he got it from Earth." "That's exactly the reason why." said First, laughing and opening his arms wide. He sat on the couch and Khaotung finally joined him. Snuggled up close to First, both of them could have fallen asleep immediately. Both worked in high positions in large companies and First in particular was being asked to do a lot of meetings at the moment. So these little moments made life easier for both of them within seconds. "I love you." "I love you too, Fir fir." First kissed Khaotung on the head and held him tightly when his cell phone rang. "It's Fiat on Facetime." he said and answered immediately. "Fiat?" asked First and saw his brother smiling into the camera. He lowered the cell phone slightly and let his brother and Khaotung see the little boy. "Oh my god." said First, smiling. "This is Kan Kanaphoon Puitrakul. Say hello Kan, these are your uncles." Fiat said proudly and smiled broadly. "He is beautiful." "He is. Just like his mommy. Thank you." "How is Lilly?" "She's doing really good. She just ate something and I helped her get up a while ago." "I'm glad to hear that." Fiat smiled widely while rocking his son in his arm. "Fiat ?" "Yes ?" "Congratulations." First said, making his brother smile even wider. "This reminds me of the day Min-Joo was born." Fiat said. "From that day on, I often imagined what it would be like when I became a father... and I'm glad that we both get along again so that I can share this wonderful moment with you." "I'm glad about that too." said First. "Boys... stop!" called Lilly from the other side. Fiat turned so that she could be seen. She was lying on the bed, snuggled up in several blankets. "You two are making me cry, think of my hormones, I gave birth to a baby a few hours ago." "I'm sorry, honey." laughed Fiat and gave her a kiss. He handed the little one back to Lilly and the four of them talked for a short moment.

"By the way, Mae and Por wanted to do a few things in your apartment. I should let you know." "Do what?" asked Fiat, tilting his head. "Mae said that Lilly will probably stay in the hospital for at least three days. Mae cooked and put a lot of things in your freezer. You certainly have food for the whole next year. And Por has already hung up the mirror in the bathroom. He said that you won't have time for that in the near future." First chuckled. "Well, I think so too." Fiat laughed. "I'll call them later and thank them." he said. Even though the relationship between them had improved, Fiat was still a bit reserved, at least when it came to showing them his unconditional love. His parents tried their best, but Fiat still had to take care of himself, he was hurt too much. He had forgiven them, but he still couldn't completely forget it all. First was also a great support to him. He didn't pressure him into anything and was understanding.
He took his brother's hurt feelings seriously.

"Guys, I'm going to hang up. I'm going to take care of my beautiful, hopefully soon-to-be wife." said Fiat. "Do that. Congratulations again, both of you. Take care. We love you." said Khao and waved, as did First. "We love you guys too, Khao Khao." said Lilly and also waved at the camera before Fiat finally hung up.
"I have the feeling Lilly only told us yesterday that she is pregnant. The months went by so quickly." First nodded. "Can you believe that Min is already in the first grade?" Khao asked. "That Winny and Satang have been married for almost a year already...?" First nodded. "Time flies." He said and stroked Khaotung on the head. "Can you believe that we are getting married in less than two months?" "Then you are mister Khaotung Thanawat Puitrakul."
