Yes I know my title is very creative and very different from my one from last week, now enjoy the story.
The clang of metal against metal filled the training ground. Zabuza and Inari were sparring in the grassy training ground, as Haku watched from the side lines. "Pathetic," growled Zabuza, easily kicking Inari into the ground. The soft grass comforted his fall, as his blade fell out of his hand. The water ninja stood over Inari, looking down upon him. "Tct, have you even been training?" asked Zabuza turning around as Haku helped Inari up.
Standing up, Inari huffed. He had only sparred with Zabuza for a few minutes, but it felt like hours. He had never faced such a difficult battle before, even when fighting his Sensei. Grabbing hold of his blade he went to stand on the side lines. Now it was Haku's turn.
Drawing his blade, the Ice User faced his master. Hefting his giant blade, Zabuza grinned at his student. "Remember Haku, blade only," said Zabuza, swinging his massive blade at his student. Ducking under the blow, Haku tried to close the distance.
"Nope," growled Zabuza kicking at Haku. Forced to jump back, Haku tried to think of a new plan. The range of Zabuza's blade was overwhelming, but if he could get in close, the advantage would fall to him. "Tct, you know how well I know my own weaknesses Haku. I'll never let you get in close," said Zabuza pointing his blade at Haku.
In a sudden strike, Haku was mainly able to block the blow. The might behind it almost slammed him into a tree, even still he was forced onto his knees. Jumping back up, Zabuza attacked him again. Trying to dodge the attack, Haku failed. The attack forced Haku to the ground as Zabuza won the spar.
"Both of you need to work on your blade skill," said Zabuza drawing back his blade. Putting his massive blade back on his back, Zabuza watched Haku get up. "Yes, I know. I also need to work on my ice release though. And my ice release can lead to greater blade skill," said Haku as he tried to catch his breath.
Zabuza nodded his head. "Good you haven't forgotten what makes you so special." "Zabuza, what did I do wrong?" asked Inari, his eyes pleading for the answer. "Nothing idiot." "I must have done something wrong. Please just tell me, I need to beat Konohamaru."
"That brat. Why the hell do you want to beat him so bad?" questioned Zabuza. "Cause he's my rival," stated Inari, boldly. "Baahhh haa haaa!" Zabuza roared with laughter. "What are you a baby. Men don't say something like that. Really what a childish thing to say."
Even Haku, the normally kind boy was lightly chuckling. "I must agree with Zabuza, it is quite a childish thing to say." Blushing, Inari growled. "Fine, can you at least tell me what mistakes I made. Even if I'm childish, I still want to beat him." "Tct, hold your blade to the height of your foe. The larger your opponent's blade, the weaker they'll be up close. And make sure you hit them," Zabuza said, adding in the last bit sarcastically.
"You really had to include that," groaned Inari, frustrated, as he rolled his eyes. "You really are obsessed with being a brat." Inari growled at the cruel words of his teacher. "...Just remember Inari, I didn't say having a rival was childish. Shouting it out to the word like you did, now that's childish. So, do you want to spar again?" With a face splitting grin, Inari picked up his blade
. . .
In a different training ground, Konohamaru was training with Hanabi. It was a grassy area with trees scattered about. The sounds of grunts and huffs could be heard throughout it. The two young ninjas were sparring and putting everything they had into it.
"Got you," Konohamaru all but laughed as he hit Hanabi. Hanabi was set tumbling into the ground by the power of the blow. Jumping back up, before Konohamaru could land another hit, Hanabi was back in her battle stance. The young boy rushed at Hanabi, ready to punch her. Launching his blow, he was surprised to see Hanabi having already ducked. With a sudden strike, Konohamaru was forced onto his back.
