Tsunade moved to rush forward, but the Main Pain reacted much faster. "Banshō Ten'in," announced Pain, as Tsunade was suddenly pulled towards him. She struggled against the force pulling her forward, yet the power never seemed to weaken. Finally, the pull ended with her landing in front of the Main body of Pain. Before she could even think of launching an attack, the Main Pain launched his own.

With a strong right to the gut, Pain started to attack Tsunade. With a skillful barrage of blows, Pain made Tsunade bleed from countless blows. Finding a small opening, Tsunade stuck with her counterattack. Launching her fist into Main Pain's stomach, Tsunade was surprised to see her attack block. She didn't have any time to think about that, as Pain began to attack again.

Blocking and parrying the blows with skill, Tsunade was hungrily searching for any opening. Pain was much too skilled for that though, leaving Tsunade to make an opening on her own. But with a well done dodged, that opening was forged, and in a sudden blur, Tsunade used that opening.

With her fist landing a single blow on Pain's arm, the man was forced back, far into a building. Tsunade moved to close the distance between the two of them, while Pain grabbed something from the ruins that was once a wall. Holding a nail that he had grabbed before him, Pain muttered, "Shinra Tensei!"

The nail flew out of his hand, moving at super speeds towards Tsunade. Trying to move out of the way, Tsunade was too slow as the nail landed on her forehead. The nail went directly through her head, flying out the other side, until it hit a house behind her.

Walking over to Tsunade, Pain gazed down at the bloody mess running down her head. "You should have given me the Nine Tails, Hokage. But now it is too late for you to change your mind. Just know that your death is for a greater cause," said Pain, bending down to close Tsunade's eyes. "Who the hell said I'm dead," shouted Tsunade, shooting up, much to Pain's surprise.

Moving her arm forward, Tsunade was able to land a punch squarely on Pain's mouth. Sending the powerful being flying, Tsunade grinned while leaping above Pain. Once she began falling down, Tsunade grinned even more as she closed in on Pain. Pain, seeing her, tried to attack, but she fell too swiftly, as she slammed both of her fists into Pain's stomach.

The force of Tsunade's attack slammed Pain into the ground, creating a good size creator, while Tsunade easily landed. Standing up again, Pain glared at Tsunade with anger flashing on his face. "Why are you so opposed to peace?" asked the Orange-haired man.

"Capturing all the Tailed Beast, tell me how that makes peace?" questioned Tsunade, practically scoffing at his idea. "I shall become the next Sage of the Six Paths, and with the power given to me by that, I will make all Villages give way to peace," declared Pain as Tsunade straight up laughed at him.

"All that's going to do is make everyone hate you, make them attack you. You're not creating peace; you're just making everyone declare war on you," said Tsunade, while Pain looked at her with penetrating eyes. "What would you then, how would you make peace, Hokage? You hold power as a leader of one of the five great Villages, yet what have you done to bring us peace. My way might cause everyone to hate me, to attack me, but they will be at peace with each other at least," stated Pain.

Tsunade growled at his words, but the Hokage could not immediately reply. "...Fine maybe you are right. Maybe I can't make peace among the Great Ninja Villages, but you can't either. They will defeat you eventually and when that happens war will begin again, the cycle of hatred will make sure of that," admitted Tsunade. "I simply will not fall," stated Pain, raising his hand at Tsunade again. "You'll fall today," said Tsunade, closing in on the Orange-Haired Man.
