Alright took us a while to get here but we're finally at the end of the Pain arc, so let's see how it goes.
Naruto leaped high into the air; trying to grab hold of the earth sphere. Jiraiya on the other hand was weaving hand seals to attack Pain, to help buy his Godson time to save Tsunade. "Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!" shouted Jiraiya, with his ball of flames soaring high into the air. Yet when it reached Pain, it seemed to be casually slapped away.
All Jiraiya's attack had seemed to do was make both Konan and Pain aware of his existence once more. While Pain glared at Jiraiya, Naruto grabbed hold of the earth sphere. Smiling down at his godfather, Naruto hoped he would be able to hold on until he could help him.
"Jiraiya-Sensei, you have once told me of the cycle of hatred. You have told me one day someone would come and end that terrible cycle. That is soon to arrive, I shall be the one to end this cycle. And I shall do so by making sure this world knows Pain!" Declared the Final Pain, as the massive sphere of earth began to slowly fall to the ground.
Naruto, surprised by the earth sphere suddenly falling to the ground, was barely able to hang on. Hanging on to the earth sphere even through that, Naruto began to climb to where he could see Tsunade's arm sticking out. Struggling to climb up there even with Sage Mode, Naruto let out a grunt as he finally arrived.
The earth sphere was now nearing the ground only a half a mile above the Village, cries of panic now echoing down below from the terror inducing sight. Naruto tried to block out the cries of fear, while he ripped out Tsunade. For with the Sage Mode enhanced strength, he was able to tear Tsunade out of the earth sphere.
The Hokage was covered in blood, out of energy and nearing the end of her charka reserves. "Naruto," gasped out Tsunade in surprise. "What's happening, have we won?" "No, we still need to beat down the main body," said Naruto leaping off of the ball of earth. "JIRAIYA!" Shouted Naruto his voice louder than thunder.
The Toad Sage looked up, seeing his student holding Tsunade, Jiraiya grinned. He watched as Naruto dropped Tsunade, while he leapt up into the air, grabbing hold of the Hokage. Landing hard on the ground, Jiraiya grinned down at Tsunade. "You doing alright?" he asked, standing up. "I've been better," admitted Tsunade, getting let down. "I just hope Naruto knows what he's doing."
Naruto for once did actually have a plan. The plan wasn't exactly the brightest thing ever, but it would work. Naruto knew that much, as he formed a Rasenshuriken in each hand. "Sage Art: Dual Rasenshurikens!" shouted Naruto, throwing the two wind stars at the falling earth sphere.
In a sight of power, Naruto's rasenshuikens exploded into hundreds of tiny wind blades. The tiny wind blades swiftly moved through the earth sphere slicing it up with ease. Soon the blades of wind disappeared, but before they left, they destroyed the earth sphere.
Landing on the ground, Naruto grinned at his hand work. The orange rings had disappeared around his eyes, his Sage Mode gone. But popping his final clone, Naruto entered Sage Mode again. Looking around, Naruto saw Konan and Pain gliding to the ground.
Pain and Konan arrived in the same area Naruto and Jiraiya had fought all the other Pains. It was a sight of a true battlefield, buildings had been destroyed, trees swept away, and sidewalks no more. Yet now another battle would have to take place there.
Naruto slowly walked towards the final Pain while Pain merely gazed at him. Soon Naruto was standing in front of Pain, glaring at the leader of the Akatsuki. "Naruto Uzumaki, you have shown your skill and might. I shall give you a chance like I gave your Hokage, either come with me now or your Village shall be slaughtered," stated Pain.
