It was Thursday. It has been three days since the accident happened and Sara was sick of being stuck in a hospital bed all day. Her leg had been stitched up and was packed with tape and plastic to keep dirt and dust from infecting the wound. During the surgery, they had repaired the tissue and some of the bone that had been splintered by the impact of the bullet. Everything was fine. Everything except her anxiety. Celina and Lucy always made sure someone was with Sara. Sadly, this didn't stop the nightmares. She would wake up panicking or just very scared. Even if Celina and Lucy asked her 100 times, Sara wasn't planning on telling them why. It concerned them, but they knew she wasn't going to break very easily. During those three days, Tim had come in regularly to check up on Sara and bring them food. Although Lucy knew that he was just there to see her, She didn't push him away. She knew how hard he was trying and maybe it was time for her to let him into her bubble every once in a while.

'I never thought I had to fill out this much paperwork for you to get released.' Celina laughed. She looked up at Sara, sitting in her hospital bed. She had already changed into her own clothes, so she could go home. 'I really appreciate you being here for me, but are you sure I can stay with you? I don't want to impulse.' Sara asked for the third time now. 'Like I said. I'm taking you home. You have to be attended 24 hours a day for the next week and I can't sit here with you for that long. Lucy and I will take care of you as long as needed, alright?' Celina reassured her.

At that moment a nurse walked in. She had brought a wheelchair with her. 'Did you fill out the paperwork?' She asked. Celina handed her the papers. The woman nodded. 'Alright, Officer Sara Braun, you get to go home.' A smile grew on her face. 'Finally.' Sara sighed. She was happy to leave. 'But before you go, I do have to explain some things. I have prescribed you some medication for the pain and some Benzodiazepine for the anxiety and panic attacks.' She handed a bag to Celina who put it on Sara's lap. 'I do have to warn you, Benzodiazepine tends to make you very drowsy. The risk of falling and blacking out will increase, so just be careful. I put an instruction sheet in there, so make sure you follow that up. I also want you to stay off your feet for at least one week. That means no weight, not even standing.' The nurse explained.

'Do you have any questions?' The nurse asked. 'What about work?' Sara asked, worried that it was going to take weeks before she could continue with her training. 'Well, After that week of rest, you need to come back here to remove the stitches. Then we can create a realistic timeline of when you can start running around and getting shot at. I would say about a week or three, but it's important that you don't rush it, especially running.' Sara looked hopeless at Celina. 'Don't worry. You'll be fine. Lucy and I will be there at all times. Maybe we can get Tim to go easy on you when you get back.' Celina, joked, knowing all too well that was never going to happen. 'I do have one more question though. How does it work with that tape on the wound?' Celina added. 'The tape is waterproof, so you can shower with it, but I would advise not for too long. After that week, you can peel off the plastic with some alcohol pads. The woman answered all their questions and helped Sara get in the wheelchair. She gave them the wheelchair to take home and some crutches to borrow and then they were off.

After talking to the nurse, they finally got to go. They walked outside where Lucy had already picked up the car, so they could get right in. Sara looked up at the clouds. It was raining heavily and Sara's insides cramped together. The cramping caused her leg to hurt again. She bit her lip. 'Get it together, it's just raining. It won't kill you. He's not here and Celina is here to protect you.' A voice in her head said. She took a breath and shook off the feeling. Lucy and Celina had seen her discomfort. 'Are you okay?' Lucy asked. 'Yeah, I just need to stop moving my leg so much.' She lied. It wasn't the best lie, but she couldn't come up with something better at the time. Luckily, Lucy and Celina believed her and dropped it. They helped Sara on the backseat and made their what home.
