When she woke up, there was only one person with her, Lavender. 'God, you're finally awake. I was so worried about you.' She said. Sara needed a moment to adjust herself. She was very droopy and a little high on the drugs they had given her. Very slowly, she pointed at a plastic cup on the table next to Lavender on the table. She noticed the little finger clip on her finger that lighted up red. It was to monitor her heartbeat. Lavender luckily understood her message and handed her the cup. The water inside tasted good. Maybe it was, because she knew it wasn't going to kill her or maybe they had better water in this hospital, but that cup was the best water she had ever tasted. She took a couple sips before giving it back. Lavender put the cup down and then sat down on the edge of the bed. She took Sara's hands in her own and stroked them softly with her thumbs.

'How did they find me?' Sara was proud of herself for finally talking. Lavender sighed and began to explain. She talked slowly, fighting against her feelings. 'That monday, you were supposed to babysit for the Raven family. When you didn't show up, they tried to call you, but you wouldn't answer. After three days of waiting, they called the cops. At first they wouldn't do anything to try and find you, but then the mechanic company called. They wanted to report your car as abandoned, because you never came back for it. That is when the police started an investigation. They went by your house and other babysit addresses. Withbno result, so they searched for your family. That's how they found me, the only kind of family you have left. When I heard you were missing, I immediately took the first plane from San Francisco to LA.' At this point the tears were in Lavender's eyes. To be fair, Sara's eyes weren't dry eighter.

'They pulled me in for questioning and of course I told them everything I knew. That wasn't much... The process of locating you took very long. They even put your photo on the news, hoping someone had seen you. That's when they got a call. Some waiter for a restaurant had claimed to see you that friday. She had recognized your picture, because she thought you were cute. She said she would've asked you out on a date if you weren't with that guy. She said she had seen you get into his car that night... The police went over the CCTV footage from that night. I was so glad when they told me the news that it was indeed you. They found the man's name by the reservation he made, so they could look up his address. The weird part was that he had no apartment or anything like that in his name. He only had a car. They pulled his licence plate, hoping it was spotted anywhere near the restaurant that Friday night. That got no result eighter.' Lavender took a breath. Sara could see how hard this was on her. It was understandable. Since school, they have been more than just cousins, they were sisters. Lavender had always been an outsider in school, but Sara took her under her wing. And as they grew older, they learned to rely on each other. Especially when Sara had to move in with Lavender and her family after her parents died.

'The road that led to you just ended and I was devastated... That was when I called you our bracelet.' Something clicked in Sara's head. Last year, she gave Lavender a bracelet. She had the same one and the best part was that they were connected. The bracelet had a button that you could push. If Lavender would push the button, Sara's bracelet would notify her by making a buzzing patter. She had bought this for Lavender's Depression. She was very bad at telling people how she felt and she didn't trust people with her feelings. Sara had brought this to let her know that she wasn't alone and that she would always have someone to talk to. It really worked, especially since they lived so far apart. Lavender lived in San Francisco and Sara in Los Angeles. That's 380 miles away, a 6 hour drive.

'I remembered what you told me on the day you gave them to me.' She continued, but Sara already knew. 'They have GPS.' Lavender faintly smiled. 'Yes, they have. Then I told that to the police and they found a way to track yours. That's how we found you.' Still a little high, Sara let it sink in. It was like she was working with half a brain, so it didn't work as fast as normal. 'So you saved me?' She asked, grateful. Lavender shook her head smiling. 'Well technically you saved yourself by giving me that bracelet and telling me that it has GPS.' She just wanted Lavender to stop talking. She folded her arm around her like as tight as possible. It worked and instead of talking, Lavender hugged her back. 'Thank you for coming. I love you.' Sara whispered. 'I love you too.'
