It's been two weeks since the accident. One week ago, Sara got her stitches removed and today she could finally continue her life again. Today was the first day for Sara to go back to work. She was excited, but not so happy about waking up that early. 'Please be careful today.' Celina said to Sara after Lucy walked out of the changing room. They weren't alone, so she kept her voice down. 'Don't worry about me. Grey put me at the front desk, away from danger, so I'll be fine.' Celina sighed, still not fully convinced, but she let it go. She closed her locker and turned around to Sara. She took a step closer. 'Normally I could kiss you and say that I love you right now, but I can feel that camera staring down at us.' She whispered in her ear. Sara smiled and shook her head. 'Come on, let's go.' Sara pushed Celina towards the door. They walked to the roll call room, where Lucy and a couple others were already sitting. Everyone started clapping when Sara walked in.
'Good morning officer Braun. It's good to have you back.' Grey greeted her. She just smiled and quickly made her way to her seat. Celina sat down next to her. 'How are you feeling.' He asked her. 'Feeling good, just glad to finally continue my training again.' She answered. 'Well, I put you at the front desk today, so it won't be a glorious first day back, so good luck.' He responded before moving on. Sara and Celina made eye contact that felt like hours. 'Let's move on to the order of the day.' They heard Grey say, so they turned their attention to him. 'We have a shortage of shops today, because apparently the late shift can't drive.' He joked and the room filled with laughter. 'So, officer Scott, you're with Jan. Martinez with officer Carl and Chen, you're with officer Bradford today.' He read. Then he looked up at the group, specifically at Tim and Lucy. 'This is the only way I could pare y'all up today, so don't make me regret it.' Lucy and Tim looked at each other with a look of interest and tenseness at the same time. At last, he handed Celina a case the night shift wasn't able to finish. Then he dismissed everyone.
Lucy and Tim walked up to each other. 'I'll get the war bags.' Tim said as they both walked out. Lucy didn't say anything. She was just observing everything that was happening. It was a little awkward, waiting on the war bags. 'Is this awkward for you?' Tim asked, in a serious tone. He had just put the bags in the boot of the car and turned to Lucy. Lucy would see that he was worried about her. Lucy forced a smile. 'Yes.' She responded honestly. 'Yes, this is very awkward and it will be for probably a good amount of the day, but we'll just have to work through that.' She was talking a little faster than normal. Tim avoided eye contact and just closed the trunk. Lucy forced a smile as they both got into the car.
Sara made her way to the front desk where an older looking cop was already working. 'Good morning.' She said, but he didn't respond. Instead he immediately started explaining how everything worked. She just sat down and listened to him. 'Now it's your turn.' He said once he was finished and a man walked towards the desk. She smiled at the man and began to do her work. It was still pretty quiet since it was only 8 AM, so that wasn't a surprise. Who would want to make a complaint at 8 AM? Her morning started out slow. She just did some work and helped some people that came in.
Celina's day on the other hand, started not as easy. She made her first arrest within 30 minutes. 'Good job.' John praised her once she caught up with the man that just robbed a jewellery store. 'Thank you, sir.' She responded, out of breath. She brought the man to the shop and they drove off. It was quiet for a long time, until John began to talk. 'So, how is Sara doing? I heard she had a tough time with panic attacks or something?' He suddenly asked her. 'She's doing better. At the start she, indeed, had some troubles, but she's doing way better now.' He nodded. 'How many people know about that?' She asked him. He gave her a playful grin back. 'Smitty found out, so-' But Celina already knew. 'So everyone. That's great, I'm sure she'll love hearing about that all day.' She finished his sentence, sarcastically.
'I don't think they will ask her about it.' He replied. Celina didn't understand. 'Last week, Lucy threatened us that she would do something to us if any of us talked to Sara about her problems. And since she broke up with Tim, people started to get a bit scared by her. She really has Tim wrapped around her finger which means she had everyone wrapped around her finger.' He explained. He was right. Everytime Tim did something, Lucy would stare at him and he would immediately stop and go away. She had him wrapped around his finger. Now Tim is back to being a sergeant, everybody had to listen and do the things he did. They all followed his and Grey's lead.
