'Alright, let's get you back in bed.' Celina said to Sara. They had just arrived and Celina was pushing Sara's wheelchair through the apartment towards her bedroom. You could clearly see that the short drive back home was very tiring for Sara. That wasn't uncommon. It's a side effect of surgery. The anaesthesia and damage to your body can cause extreme fatigue in patients. Celina helped her to bed without any complications. She stayed with her until she fell asleep. After 20 minutes, she slowly removed Sara's head off her lap and went to the living room where she found Lucy. 'Hi, what are you doing?' She asked Lucy. 'That 207 case with that 16 year old girl, Jess Harrold. We got the evidence to prove she got raped. Now it's just filling out piles of paperwork.' Lucy sighed. 'I wish you good luck with that. I'm gonna chill.' 'Wait, hold on.' Lucy protested before Celina could sit down on the couch. 'Have you talked to Grey about our shifts yet? You said you wanted to take some time to get Sara settled, right?' She asked. 'Yes, I will, but I haven't yet. I'll call him tomorrow.' Lucy nodded, accepting her answer.
Celina let herself fall down on the sofa while Lucy finished her paperwork. When she was done the clock was already at 6:30. 'I really don't feel like cooking. Should I order in?' She asked Celina, while putting her finished papers to the side. 'No, it's fine, I'll cook. Plus, I think it's good if Sara gets something healthy for her recovery.' Celina stood up. 'As long as it doesn't have any zucchini or mushrooms. I hate that stuff.' Sara said from the bedroom, merging herself into the conversation. Lucy laughed as she poked her head around the corner. 'How about you join us in the living room? I think you rested enough for now.' She offered. 'Yes, that would be way better.' Sara sighed. Lucy walked in and carefully helped Sara into her wheelchair and then into the living room. 'Alright, let's put some music on.' Lucy said, grabbing her phone. A couple seconds later, cheerful summer music was blasting through the apartment. Celina prepared a chicken salad while Lucy was setting the table.
All three were singing and moving to the rhythm of the music. Sara was spinning around in her wheelchair, even doing some wheelies. 'SARAFINA, all four wheels on the ground please! You're already injured, I don't need you to break your neck too!' Celina said loudly when she saw it. 'My leg isn't broken. It's just damaged, relax.' Sara rolled her eyes. 'How did you even learn how to do that so fast?' Lucy asked. 'Believe it or not, but I was actually really small at the start of highschool.' It was indeed not really believable, because Sara was now around 5.7 feet. 'I was the flyer of the cheerleaders club, so I have already fractured, sprained and twisted my leg countless times. This isn't my first time in a wheelchair.' She laughed. 'First time or not, I don't want you doing crazy stuff like that.' Celina said again, strictly. Lucy looked at her from the corner of her eye. She smiled to herself, thinking about how protective Celina was over Sara. She had never seen her friend like that.
After dinner, they just hung out and watched, in Lucy's opinion, a boring cooking show. Kitchen porn, was another way for her to describe it. She was more into action or thriller movies like Marvel or The Joker. Celina and Sara on the other hand loved it. With Sara leaning against Celina, they were enjoying every minute. Lucy got a message on her phone. Even a buzzing sound was already enough to distract her. She pulled it out of her pocket and sighed. It was Tim. Even though she didn't want to answer, she couldn't ignore it. She stood up and went to her bedroom to answer it.
