After her conversation with Grey, Celina was met by the two detectives. 'Hi Celina, how is Sara?' Angela asked. Celina didn't feel like spilling all Sara's secrets. 'She's doing fine. Not very happy with her wheelchair, but she's doing better.' She lied. 'I heard she had panic attacks while she was in the hospital. Is that true?' Nyla asked. 'Wauw news travels fast around here. Yes, she had one after she woke up, probably because of Anastasia.' That was also partly a lie, but sometimes it's the quickest way out.
Angela looked over Celina's shoulders and saw Tim coming out of the locker room. 'Is Tim having a half day again? This is the third one in two weeks. He never takes a day off.' She thought out loud. Celina knew the detectives well. If they had even the slightest feeling that you knew something, they wouldn't let you go until you told them everything. Even if Tim was an ass 99% of the time, she couldn't bring herself to tell them this secret, so getting away as soon as possible it was. 'I'm sorry, but I have to pick up Sara. See you soon.' She waved.
She got out of there and made her way back. She arrived a bit early and waited in the waiting room until Sara was done. Celina noticed immediately that Sara's mood had changed. She was quieter than usual and a little pale. She stood up. 'Hé, how did it go?' She asked. 'Can we please just go, I'm tired?' Sara's answer was different than she had expected. 'Yes, come on.' Celina took over pushing the wheelchair and Sara relaxed a little.
When back home, Celina asked: 'do you want to lie down for a while?' Sara didn't answer and stared at the floor. She was gone, gone in her own mind. She took that as a yes and helped her into bed. She was making her way out to give her some space when Sara began to talk. 'I shut down.' Her voice, soft and low. Celina turned around. Sara gestured for her to lie down too and that was what she did. Sara laid her head down on her stomach.
'I didn't even talk to her.' She continued as Celina stroked her fluffy hair. 'Why not?' Sara shrugged her shoulders. 'What was I supposed to tell her? That I'm having panic attacks during the nights and a lot of anxiety during the day? She already knows that. That's already in my file.' 'You didn't say anything?' Celina asked remorsefully. 'She asked me if I knew the reasons for the panic attacks, but I really don't know.' Sara lied. She knew why, but nothing could help her, regardless if her therapist knew about it or not. And what if Celina found out? She would probably leave her too. She couldn't handle that, she needed Celina. Her knight in shining armour.
Sara yawned. She was tired. 'Sleep a little. We can figure this out later.' Sara tried but her head was spiralling. It took way longer than normal, but she eventually fell asleep. Celina decided to stay, scared that if she moved, Sara would wake up again.
