Chapter 53 The pooja chaos

Why does he have to be so hard !!! Wasn't it already enough for him to hurt me this way . Now this . I want to run but could not . I had to control myself . I went to the kitchen and started doing preps . The guest started to come. I had invited some of dadi's friends and colleagues of her boutique . I kept myself busy by interacting with them . I could feel his eyes on me whenever and wherever I use to go I wanted to go out of his sight damn this man . He has to mess things up ....

" beta ! Come and sit for the Pooja! " said dadi and I looked at her " dadi arent you are going to sit?" She came and said " yes I was but since Raghav is here why don't both of you sit for the Pooja. " " but da-" I tried to Refuse " beta please sit " . I felt a hand on my waist when I saw him smiling proudly and said " let's go jaan we cannot delay Pooja!!!" He said as if he had won a tournament ... idiot hhh!!!

I went and sat quietly... we did Pooja and I served the guests . All this time my man was being surrounded by women who wanted him to marry there daughter ... I wanted to drag him from there and kiss him on his face so that they know he is mine ha very funny .. do you really think a guy like him will accept you !!! I felt pang in my chest ... I looked at him his expressions changed to worry ... did he read my mind !! I have to leave

His face softened towards me .. I wanted to get out of this place...no one except for dadi and Raghav cared for my presence ... 😔 I started to leave for the kitchen felling tears in my eyes when an aunty came and stood in front of me " Can you go and bring me juice ? " I already wanted to leave so I agreed .

aunty glared at me and hold me by arms " you pathetic piece , what black magic have you done on him , which victim card did you play for him to agree on marrying you ... " she said spitting venom out of her mouth ...

I wanted to slap her .. but I didn't she was an elder ... my ethics stopped me from doing it and more importantly she was dadi's guest and this was dadi's house I cannot do it !!!

" Drink water and leave my house " he said grabbing everyone's attention. Now everyone was looking at me and I was looking at him with anger and tears !!!

I could be seen like this in front of all of them . I left...

She practically ran out of room . She was not willing to sit with me but after dadi insisted she sat with me for Pooja... I prayed her to forgive me and accept me as her husband..

She looked pure goddess in that red dress . My goddess. No one except her grabbed my attention .This was the first time I was doing Pooja because everytime dadi did I use to sneak away to avoid all those ladies. There were really obsessed with me !

I hated them ! But for my jaan I can tolerate them .. when I saw her expressions changing while talking to that aunty ... when going near her I heard her talking to my angel badly . Blood my veins boiled. I anger got riled up and I spoke loudly . I never intentions to disrespect her but this was not acceptable.

Listening to me my Jaan got angry and upset and ran from there . I hated her sad face . I wanted to smash someone's head when she showed such expressions ... oh lord help me .

" What happened Beta? " My dadi asked stopping me from saying any further ! " she was demeaning my sach and using inappropriate words . So I want her to apologize and leave our house ."

"He is lying . I was just having a normal ladies conversation with her " the lady tried to cover up. "Don't lie aunty I heard " i said sternly . She gulped and spoke with the leftover courage " you can ask her " she said " even if she said no I don't want you here or near her anywhere and anytime if you did I will make sure you and your husband regret !! " I gave a damn warning ! Loud and clear ! I went from there to my room .

I don't know what happened after that because I was in no mood of rejoining them and thinking about sach crying made me more upset.

My door knocked making me come out of my thoughts. " Raghav dadi has sent this food for you as do did not have your lunch I'm keeping it here , eat it ! " she said how can this girl after all this act so normal !!

" take it I don't want to eat ! " I said continuing my work ...I was badly pissed right now to answer her .

"When will you go back " she asked I looked at her all my anger was vanished... where did it go ... " why do you ask ? Were you really missing me so much ? " I said teasingly... she looked at me and again diverted her gaze avoiding my eye contact " No I was thinking you should apologize for your behaviour towards that aunty today . You can send sweet and personally go and apologize to her " she said my grip tightened I could imagine that women instead of my pen.

"Fine I will apologize to her but I have two conditions!!!" She looked at me confused...
"Hear it ... I have no interest in apologizing for my behaviour towards her because she deserved it and so if you want to me to Apologize I need my prize for that " I said smirking

" dadi asked you it's not my decision!!! " she really wants me to back off ...jaan I won't. "wont ever do that . But anyways for you i will do if my conditions are fulfilled " she did not seem to agree "Fine then I will tell her the conditions which could have been private between a husband and wife .. let her talk to you and then we can proceed with the terms " her cheeks gave a tinge of red , she looked at me with wide eyes ...

"No you cannot do it !!!" She said " watch me doing it darling ! If you don't agree! " I gave a winning grin. She was mine . She had to realise it . I got to know about her weak points ...

"Tell me the conditions " she said sighing away !!! " before that come , sit and fed me !!!I said grinning " what ? Are you a small kid ... I'm not doing it !!! " she said absolutely shocked

"Fine take your food , and our deal is cancel no sorry telling to that pathetic human and yes do not disturb me !!! " I said turning my focus back ... I could feel her thinking ...

"Fine say " she Said coming near with food and sitting beside me

I knew she won't let me stay hungry ...

"you will come with me on a long drive and listen to me before coming to any conclusion " she looked at me .. I gave her a sincere look ...

" and second??" She asked innocently

"She has to apologize to you too on social media in front of everyone. " I said grinning!

" she is elder Raghav please. It does not look good on our part . Please stop this stupidity! " she said almost giving up ....

I stopped eating " fine I don't want to eat ... , take your plate away ! "

"Liste-" " you listen to me jaan . What she did was wrong I'm still ready to apologize but i need Her public apology . If she is ready I will personally go to her house to hear her apology . This is the Deal it is non negotiable!!!

" fine !!! Accepted but dont tell dadi about this deal . She was upset . I will tell her about us going to there house and her apologizing ."

" so shall we go ? " I asked inquisitively " where ? " she looked at me

I went near her and said " our first official date !!!"

" we had deal of a long drive !!! Date was not a part of it "

"Yes jaan but I didn't say anything about not eating . We go on a long drive and have a date " I said feeling happy about it ...

"Why are you doing this when -"

"Because I need answer of every tear which came out from the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen , the answer of this sadness grown on the most beautiful face I have ever come across and answer of all my unanswered calls, messages, emails!!! And 5 broken phones . All these answers jaan you have to speak and only the truth because there won't be any escape from me either way "

I said kissing her cheek... my jaan was shocked and scared .. but still as always trying to hide everything from me !

I put forward a morsel and without much discussion we ate from the same plate and then I slept comfortably after 16 days of living in hell..
