Because of what happened, hindi ako nakapasok sa school ng almost 3 months.
When I came back to school, it's already the final term. I had to beg my professors and the dean to give me a special exam for the terms that I've missed.
I was really thankful that they allowed me to take a special exam. It was tough because I have to review a lot of subjects at the same time.
“Isaiah, I told you umuwi ka na! I can do this myself," pamimilit ko sa kaibigan.
I was highlighting the important terms so that it would be easy for me to remember.
Months have passed and somehow, we are trying to forget what happened. Sinusubukan kong mamuhay ulit kagaya ng dati. Yung walang bakas ng masaklap na pangyayari.
I am really thankful to Isaiah and his father because they never leave me.
I moved a bit because I felt like I was about to throw up with his perfume.
Just go home Isaiah. Maligo ka!"
Akmang babatukan niya ako kaya mabilis akong umiwas.
“Mamayang alas diyes ako uuwi."
“Isaiah… maaga pa pasok mo bukas," nagbabantang tono ko rito.
“9:30."
In the end, I have no choice but to agree with him. Last time, I was saddened when I saw Isaiah’s grade in some of his subjects. May mga 2.00 at 2.75 doon. Now, he doesn't have a chance to graduate with latin honor. Nakakalungkot lang dahil he used to be our valedictorian.
I realized that his low grades are due to his absence the past months.
May time pa naman ako magreview bukas."
From the papers, he lifted his eyes on me. Nakataas ang kilay niya sa akin.
“What?" tanong ko rito.
Imbes na magsalita ay umiling lamang siya. He's weird. But he's Isaiah so there's nothing to be shocked with. Matagal na siyang weird.
When the clock struck 9:30, I immediately grabbed the module from his hand to stop him from writing.
When he stood up, he patted my head and smiled a bit.
“Do well in your exam."
I smiled at him and pushed him towards the door. I continued on doing my review until I finally felt sleepy.
