With one last, fiery glance at the retreating figures of the boys, she turned and continued her walk down the empty streets of Mumbai. Her anger, while somewhat sated, still burned brightly, fueling her.

Next day...

Meera was casually coming down the stairs, her mind wandering through the tasks of the day. However, halfway down, she suddenly froze. Her eyes locked onto the scene unfolding in the living room below. Two things immediately caught her attention.

First, Rudra and Darshana, who rarely entertained visitors at this hour, were engaged in an intense conversation with someone. And second, that someone was none other than Shanaya.

Meera’s heart skipped a beat. *What is she doing here?* she wondered, panic bubbling up inside her. She turned on her heel, abandoning her calm composure, and ran straight back upstairs, her steps echoing through the hall. Bursting into Vihaan’s room, she knocked frantically on the doorframe, only to find it already open.

But the room was empty. Meera’s brows furrowed as she glanced around. No sign of Vihaan. *Where could he be?* She took a deep breath, clearly contemplating something important, and then hurried down the corridor.

Her first stop was Ruhanika’s room. She knocked on the door, her impatience mounting. After a few moments, the door opened a crack, revealing Ruhanika’s sleepy face, her hair sticking out in every direction, a wild, tangled mess like a bird's nest.

“What’s going on?” Ruhanika mumbled, barely awake, squinting at Meera through bleary eyes.

“Come down,” Meera said urgently, her voice full of excitement. “There’s a big surprise waiting for us!”

Ruhanika blinked, trying to process Meera’s words, but before she could ask for more details, Meera had already dashed off, leaving her standing confused in the doorway.

Next, Meera made her way to Raina’s room. This time, the door swung open immediately, revealing Raina with an unusually large grin on her face.

“What’s up?” Raina asked, her bright expression suggesting that she already knew something was amiss.

“Shanaya didi is here,” Meera whispered conspiratorially, eyes wide with anticipation.

Raina’s face lit up with a mischievous glint. “Shanaya didi?!” she repeated, her voice filled with excitement. She gave a quick nod, clearly eager to witness whatever drama was about to unfold downstairs. Without a second thought, she slipped on her slippers and followed Meera down the stairs.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Shivan was making his slow descent from the third floor, yawning as he rubbed the back of his neck. He hadn’t had his morning coffee yet, and his thoughts were still hazy. He squinted through half-open eyes at the group gathered in the living room. Everyone seemed oddly tense—*even Rudra and Darshana,* he noted with a vague sense of surprise.

He shrugged, deciding to join them, and shuffled toward the center of the room. “What’s everyone doing here so early?” he asked, his voice still groggy, as he approached.

“We have a surprise for you,” Vihaan said with a grin, his tone laced with amusement. He gestured toward the sofa with an exaggerated motion, the kind that always meant trouble.

Shivan lazily turned his head, his gaze landing on the figure seated on the couch. At first, he didn’t register who it was, but then recognition struck him like lightning. His eyes widened in shock.

Sitting in the living room, legs crossed elegantly, was his wife—Shanaya. And she did *not* look happy.

The panic that gripped Shivan was immediate and overwhelming. “Guys, my wife is here! MY WIFE IS HERE!” he exclaimed, his voice jumping an octave as he looked around frantically, hoping for some sign of support or escape.
