Natasha was momentarily stunned, overwhelmed by the sudden shift in the room’s atmosphere. For the first time in a long while, she didn’t feel completely alone. As she stood there, caught between wanting to leave and the warmth of unexpected acceptance, she couldn’t help but wonder—maybe, just maybe, she could find her place among them.

"I have some work upstairs, I’ll leave now." Natasha’s voice was controlled, but there was an undercurrent of anxiety beneath her words. She gently pulled her hand from Rudra’s grip and, without waiting for a response, darted toward the stairs. Her heartbeat quickened as she hurried away, trying to distance herself from the overwhelming situation downstairs.

As she reached the corridor leading to her room, she let out a shaky breath, thinking she was finally alone. But before she could turn the handle, a strong hand suddenly yanked her back. In one swift motion, Natasha found herself pulled into Yuvaan's study room. She gasped, her eyes wide with shock, but before she could protest or ask what was happening, she met Yuvaan's intense gaze.

He stood tall and unyielding, his expression unreadable. There was no softness, no apology for the way he had dragged her into the room. Instead, his eyes flickered with a strange intensity, something she couldn’t quite place. Without a word, he guided her toward the large mahogany desk in the center of the room and gently pushed her to sit on its edge. The cool wood beneath her was a stark contrast to the heat radiating between them.

Yuvaan stepped closer, positioning himself between her legs, his large frame towering over her. Natasha felt her breath catch in her throat, her body responding to his proximity in ways that confused and unsettled her. Her pulse raced, and she could hear the steady thrum of her heartbeat in her ears.

"Why are you getting so nervous around them?" he asked, his voice deep and firm, yet with a hint of curiosity. His dark eyes searched her face for an answer. "They’re just teasing you."

Natasha’s gaze dropped instinctively to the floor, her confidence waning under his scrutiny. "I don’t know," she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper. She felt exposed, vulnerable, and she hated it.

Yuvaan wasn’t having it. His fingers reached under her chin, lifting her face until their eyes met once more. His grip was gentle but authoritative, sending a shiver down her spine. "Don’t ever lower your gaze," he commanded, his voice rough but low, his breath mingling with hers. "Not with me."

The words barely left his mouth before he leaned in, closing the small distance between them. Without warning, his lips pressed against hers, soft yet demanding. The suddenness of the kiss left Natasha breathless, her body tensing at the unexpected contact. But as the seconds passed, the tension melted away, replaced by something deeper, something she couldn’t name.

Her hands moved of their own accord, sliding up his chest and around his neck, pulling him closer. She kissed him back with a hunger she hadn’t realized was there, as if all her buried emotions were suddenly rising to the surface. His hands, firm and possessive, settled on her hips, pulling her against him as he deepened the kiss.

Natasha’s mind went blank, all thoughts of the awkwardness with the others fading away. The only thing that mattered now was Yuvaan—his touch, his warmth, his lips moving expertly against hers. She could feel the heat radiating from him, his body pressing into hers in a way that sent sparks shooting through her veins.

As their lips parted for a moment, Yuvaan’s breath was hot against her skin. He shifted, trailing his lips down the side of her face, over her jawline, until he reached the soft curve of her neck. Natasha inhaled sharply, her fingers tangling in his hair as his lips found her pulse point. He kissed the sensitive skin there before sucking gently, and the sensation sent a shiver down her spine, making her toes curl.
