"Right, let us keep doing some more training," Rengoku cheerfully said as he got to his feet. He was ignoring the whimper that he got from Zenitsu and the excited cheer he got from Inosuke. He would make sure that by the end of this training lesson they wouldn't have any energy left. Genya looked torn as he looked between the training group and Hikaru. They had promised to talk about the different types of weapons together, but he also wanted to train so that he would get stronger.
"Go and join training, I want to talk to Akaza about something and then I'll join the training and afterwards we can talk about blacksmithing some more and the different weapons that could be used," Hikaru reassured him.
"Okay," Genya nodded. It was a hesitant nod since he wasn't so sure about Hikaru going to talk to the demon but it's not like he could stop them. "Just be careful, got it?"
"Of course," Hikaru agreed as he got to his feet and walked over to Akaza who was performing his own set of training. All of the demon slayers were training (hashira or not). Tamayo and Yushiro were discussing different medicines and poisons they could use to help the demon slayers with Ubuyashiki adding his own comments to this conversation.
"Akaza, do you mind if I ask you something?" Hikaru asked as he got to the demon. He made sure not to speak too loudly since he didn't want to get everyone's attention since they would probably freak out and want to know what they were talking about. He wasn't ready to share his theory yet since he wasn't even sure about it yet.
"What is it?" Akaza's eyes were narrowed as he stopped training for the moment. He wasn't about to give out any more information about upper moon five and four since even though he didn't care if they died, he knew that Lord Muzan would.
"Don't worry I'm not going to ask you about the other upper moons or anything," Hikaru grinned.
"Then just ask," He demanded. Seems that seeing auras really did give away everything even if you didn't want to give it away.
"It's about the marks on your skin; did you have them when you first became a demon or was it some sort of pattern you decided after a while?" Hikaru asked and Akaza just stared at him.
"You just wanted to ask about my looks?" Akaza was baffled. Of all things he thought that the demon slayer might ask him about, his looks wasn't even on the long list.
"Just the stripe marks, I mean don't get me wrong you are good looking, but something tells me that you aren't interested," Hikaru said and Akaza spluttered as he blushed. Hikaru was really bold to be saying something like that to a demon, but he didn't even flinch just continued to grin at him.
"What does it matter?" Akaza demanded.
"I'm wondering about something and for me to figure it out I need to know the answer. Know that I won't give up until you give me an answer," Hikaru warned. Akaza didn't doubt that for a moment, he had seen this boys stubbornness over and over again. Nothing would get him to give up on this so Akaza just decided to give up. It's not like answering him would do anything to displease Lord Muzan.
"I have always had the bands on my arms," Akaza said.
