This is Lynda Lopez from the PG County Courthouse in Upper Marlboro with a breaking news story. Actually two breaking news stories connected to the highly discussed hit and run trial of former editor in chief of The Aura magazine Dodie Giadello Angeletti who is currently in a coma at St. Paul's Hospital following a very mysterious incident at the county jail where she has been housed without bail since being arrested for the tragic accident.

First the jury has reportedly returned with a verdict in the case of the century. And we also have reports coming in relating to the suicide attempt of the defendant at the jail. According to Lieutenant Hannah Hensen of the homicide unit there may be more to the supposed suicide attempt than previously believed by all. The investigating detectives have been looking through the defendant's now still closed off jail cell and have determined that there appear to be certain irregularities with the immediate scene pointing to the incident being a little more than just a suicide attempt but not an accident.

And returning to the jury verdict we have word that court will be resuming with Judge Richard Norland in a few minutes.

" Who are you? ," the uniformed police officer stationed outside the hospital room of Dodie Angeletti said as he stood up from his chair beside the closed door.

The tall muscled young man with wavy blond hair and cool blue eyes smirked at the cop , saying," I just wanted to offer my well wishes to Mrs. Angeletti , officer. "

The cop laughed harshly and with much disbelief. " Yeah right, kid. The defendant is receiving no visitation beyond her own family. So you go play in the sandbox or something. Now run along, boy. "

Jeff Kendall's smirk grew wider as he watched the short tubby cop. " Fine. I have other things to do anyway. "

Then he turned away from the room and strode confidently away.
