Jacob Giadello stepped out of the indoor swimming pool in his family estate , water cascading off his tall leanly muscled nude body. He ran a hand through his wavy brown hair as he moved smoothly over to the ringing cell phone on the glass topped circular table a few steps away.

He answered it and said," It better be done this time. "

A muffled sounding male voice replied," There was another issue. I heard someone coming near the room. I had to do less than my best work. Again. "

Jacob cussed in Italian. He was very tired of dealing with incompetent help. How hard could it be to take out his spoiled reckless self centered cousin? The only reason he had wanted her dead anyway was because he feared she would run her mouth about the family interests to the wrong people for a cushy sentence if convicted but with the mistrial that didn't seem to be an issue any longer. And since she was allegedly not in her right mind anymore it may be a moot point after all.

" You're an idiot. Do not continue with the plan. In fact I am removing you from the project. Effective immediately. Don't worry you'll still be paid. Of course if you don't improve your own services you may find yourself terminated. Goodbye. "

He hung up swiftly. Then he sighed with a chill entering his brown eyes. He adored his Aunt Glory and he pitied his Cousin Alfred but he hated Dodie. His uncle had spoiled her and created a monster. One day she would be the ruin of the family he knew but he could not afford to waste anymore time on this matter. The longer she managed to survive against his henchmen the more suspicion might fall on himself and the company.

" So , it appears you may live, Dodie. For now anyway. "

But first one more call , he thought as he dialed.

" Jacks , Homicide. "

" Detective Jacks , that Angeletti matter? Make sure it turns cold as ice. Make it disappear. "

Detective Nate Jacks laughed harshly. " Whatever you say, boss. "
