                Breaking News

We're still following the aftermath of the very tragic hit and run accident that occurred yesterday in Hyattsville. What we know as of now is that editor in chief of the popular magazine The Aura Dodie Angeletti reportedly hit a seventeen year old boy while allegedly speeding and talking on a cell phone. The boy has been revealed as Jamal Duncan, a senior at Hyattsville Senior High School and also the nephew of local lawyer Jeremiah Duncan who we are all familiar with from the recent Faith Lane case. Staff and students at Hyattsville Senior High School are said to be in a state of shock at the news that one of their own has been involved in a hit and run accident. They also say Jamal is a well liked and very smart young man who plans to attend college after graduation. He was also at the age  of ten the reigning champ on a locally produced spelling bee show BusyBee. Doctors at St. Paul's Hospital Center say he is in stable condition with head injuries, a fractured collarbone and a broken leg. Dodie Angeletti after striking the young boy sped off and then ran into a car driven by Dr. Gordon Kendall of St. Paul's. Dr. Kendall was killed in the impact and his fifteen year old son Alan was thrown from the car. Dr. Kendall was married to Ariel Kendall, a well renowned interior decorator that has transformed the likes as the White House and Rebel's own home. Alan is a freshman at Barrington Academy and is actively involved with both the track team and the musical theater club. Dr. Gerald HighTower , headmaster of Barrington, has stated that the young boy is extremely well liked at the school and often referred to as Barrington's Sweetheart. Dr. Kendall himself was a popular ob/gyn who had a prominent practice but also volunteered at the Women's Health Clinic at St. Paul's. He was described by his partners as a loving husband and father that never met a stranger.

Dodie Angeletti has been arrested for the hit and run accident and is currently awaiting a bail hearing. Mrs. Angeletti is separated from her husband Tony who resides in Pennsylvania and Connecticut with three of their six children. Tony Angeletti is a vice president at her family's company Giadello Enterprises which is based in Connecticut. She is the younger child of Franco Giadello who before his death was investigated by the FBI on several charges of trafficking. We were unable to attain a statement from anyone at Giadello Enterprises or the home of Tony Angeletti. We also attempted to contact Volkouv Enterprises which is the parent company of The Aura to get their take on this developing case but were unable to get a statement.

There is a new development. Dodie Angeletti has reportedly been treated in the county jail infirmary for injuries she sustained in the jail last night. And she will be arraigned today in the courtroom of Richard Norland who was recently sworn in as a judge. Judge Norland also has a connection to Dodie Angeletti in that he is her step brother. His father is married to her mother Glory Giadello. There's no word if Norland will be the assigned judge of the case when it goes to trial. And the Reverend Lazarus Jones says that the hit and run of young Jamal Duncan is a sad day for the state of Maryland and the United States of America. He declared that he has no faith in the criminal justice system that they will actually bring Dodie Angeletti to justice. He says they will be holding a candlelight prayer vigil for the boy's recovery in Wilkes park.
