This is Lynda Lopez live from the courthouse where we have been awaiting the verdict on the Angeletti hit and run trial but we have received word from a source inside the courtroom of Judge Richard Norland that the court proceedings have been disrupted by a person with a gun. At the present moment the courthouse is being evacuated of all people except for the ones in Judge Norland's courtroom.

Nigel began to tremble greatly as he stared at the news report on the tv in the kitchen where he had been checking on the chili and Shepherd pie that was still cooking.

Lewis came into the kitchen followed by the other kids who had just arrived back from school. Their entrance prompted Nigel to quickly switch off the television even as his heart began to beat rapidly.

Rebecca asked as she headed for the refrigerator and an after school snack before homework," Were they talking about Daddy's courthouse, Daddy Nigel?"

Nigel forced himself to breathe as normally as possible as he plastered a hopefully reassuring smile on his face and said," No , everything is fine. Why don't you all grab some cookies and milk and head off for homework time? "

Richie glanced at his foster father with too much suspicion on his face. " You ok , Pirate Man ? ," he asked Nigel who was hurriedly texting his husband on his cell phone.

" I'm fine," he lied in an effort to not alarm the kids.

Alfred and Glory watched the breaking news report on the tv in Dodie's hospital room as she remained in a comatose state.

Alfred shook his head. " Dear God. What is going on now? "

Glory paled and reached for her cell phone to call her husband but it just rang and rang until she got voicemail.

Alice Rose Norris was having tea and chatting merrily with Spencer in his kitchen when she suddenly realized something her mind had skipped right over.

She looked at the man in the wheelchair and said," I never paid attention. Senior moment I think but is part of your last name Norland ? "

Spencer nodded as he sipped at the tea. "Yes. That's what I was before I married DuBuis. My father is Andrew Norland. "

The elderly woman seemed to pale in the face but recovered slightly as she whispered," I used to know some Norlands. Once. How old is your father?"

Before Spencer could answer her the game show they were watching was interrupted for a breaking news report live from the courthouse.

To Spencer's growing horror he realized that they were talking about a gunman in his brother's courtroom.

His brother Richard was trapped in a courtroom with a gunman.

And , he suddenly remembered, so was his other brother Winston.

Andrew sat on the sofa in his living room watching the news report and trying to call his oldest child to no avail.
