" Where were you last night? ," Bliss Jones asked as she poured herself more coffee all while glaring over at her fiance Jeremiah Duncan who was reading the Washington Reign.

Bliss rolled her heavily made up light brown eyes at him. " Nope. Nada. No way. You started out that way, darling , but around four in the morning you were gone from not only the bedroom but the apartment. Where did you go? "

Jeremiah sighed and put down the newspaper. " Fine. I needed to unwind. This damn trial. Jamal's situation. Starting the firm. I just needed to go out and get a drink at the Club J. "
