I look up to my left Lonnie is blocked, and Chaz is too far for a smooth pass. There's 10 seconds on the clock. This is the championship I have to pull this play off myself. We're tied up and we're too good to go into overtime. We've been undefeated the whole season. No changing it now. Number 24 is playing a mean defense game. But not mean enough.

I fake the shot and she falls for it. I swerve her to the left and dribble to the post. I cross number 14 real smooth doing my swift 360. I jump for the shot. Cameras flashing. Girls screaming. Crowd yelling. Sneakers squeaking. All I know is I don't feel anything. I finally reach the rim and dunk the ball. "Eerrrrrrrrrrrrrr" The buzzer beater sounds off.

"And that's the game. The wolverines won"

I land from the rim. I run to mid court and do my backflip. Lonnie runs up to me. "Yoooooooooo!!!!!!"

She reaches me and starts shaking my shoulders. "Jay? Jay wake up. Jay. Jay!!!!"

Aw man.

I open my eyes to see my little sister. "Jay"

"I'm up. I'm up."

"Get up. Time for school. Remember you owe me today."

We made a bet and obviously I lost. I have to take her to school on the first day so I have to get up.

"Alright. Give me 10."

"Ugh. Don't forget to brush" She says covering her nose. Morning breath. Well. I'm not prefect. Don't judge me.

I do my morning routine. Shower, brush my teeth, freshen up. I get out put on my Day1 fresh outfit. I check my phone and see Lonnie text me.
"Morning bro. School day time for the ladies."

Lonnie is a joke. She always being stupid and talking about girls. Never fails. But it's her personality.

I get to school and hop out my car. I don't see Lonnie's car yet so I put on my headphones and funk out to my Kendrick Lamar and take a seat at our post where we always meet.

I hear it get really loud. I look up and notice Lonnie is headed my way. She's with Chaz and some other girl. Probably one of her new girls. Not surprised on her quickness.
" Yoooooooooo!!!" She screamed down the strip. We all share our hugs and daps. Lonnie introduces the girl who was with them.

"Bro, this is my cousin Morgan" Op. Well I was wrong.

"Wassup" I throw my chin in her direction as a hello gesture

"Hey." She does a little shy wave.

Her smile is pretty. She's actually cute but I would never tell her cause it would get to her head and then she would get all up on me and then she would use me and cheat on me. That's how all girls work.

I'll be man enough to admit when a girl is attractive but I'm not going to act on it. No way Jose.

After some laughs from being reunited we all head over to the guidance office to check out where our homeroom was. They give you your schedules in first period. Everyone had the same first period except Morgan.

" Alright. I'll see yall in class I'm gonna go show this chick around"

Nah bruh. Tell me how Morgan turned around and winked at me as she left. That's got unloyal written all over.

My middle name is NoAccess. Maybe I should tell her. Cause I ain't with that. She got the wrong one.

Morgan POV

My cousin Lonnie came to pick me up for school. Here's the story. My dad is away for work. He works for a major company and they flew him away to Europe for work. So dad decided to talk to my aunt who is a house saleswoman to see if she can find is a house close to her. I don't know why cause we had a perfect life in Georgia I don't get why we had to move all the way to Florida. But hey its whatever can't do anything now.

She pulled up in her black camaro with gold details and gold rims. Yeah. My whole family banking. The job is sort of a family business cause my great granpa started it. Besides the point.

I hop in the passenger seat and give Lonnie a hug.

"I missed you cousin."

"I missed you too Fat Head." She laughs.

"How's auntie holding up without uncle being here?"

"As fine as usual."

"Oh I know." She smirks. I hit her.

"That's nasty. She's your aunt"

"By law"

I hit her again harder.

"Fuck.. I'm just joking." She rubs her chest.

"Get your abusive ass in the back. I'm picking somebody up"

"Why do I have to get in the back?"

"That's messed up. Blood is thicker than water." I give a puppy dog face. She didn't even look.

"Yeah. To the back. Love you too."

"Damn. That's messed up Lonelle."

"My name is Lonnie."

I mock her.

"Hey. Listen. This is my school. This is my family. Don't try to talk to any of my friends. I mean don't even THINK about one of them. I know you. You're just like me. We have the same genes. Don't try to play them. They're not your toys. Got it?"

"Okay."

"That goes for both of you. Morgan AND Mo. And I'm not joking. I'm dead ass serious."

"Okay okay. sheesh. I got it"

Whatever. Her friends are probably not even cute anyways. We pull up to whomever's house and some stud comes out. I bit my lip. Damn she's fine.

"Aye. What did I just say?"

"Alright." Damn it. She had to use my middle name though.?

The door opened and she entered the car. They do their boyish dap thing.

"Sup bruh."

"Sup Lonnie"

"This is my cousin in the back. Her name is Morgan. She's gonna be going to our school. "

Yikes. Her voice is cute.

"Hi" I knew I couldn't stare long cause Lonnie was eyeing me in her mirror so I looked away. We just headed straight to school.

We got there and walked down this strip but it wasn't inside a building, we were still outside, but anyways. I follow Lonnie and she starts yelling over to one of her friends. I couldn't make out their face from a far but once we got closer they stood up and hugged Lonnie and Chaz. I noticed it was a female. My god was she fine. She got me feeling some type of way and I've never seen her before in life. Everything about her was just. Stunning. Her hair, her face, her swagger, her smile, her height. God knows I have a weakness for the tall ones. Lonnie might have told me not to talk to her friends but I think I have to break that promise.

Lonnie introduced her. Her name is Jay. She said Wassup with that sexy ass nodding gesture all I said was hey.
Her voice is too sexy.

Before Lonnie could notice me I turned my head away biting my lip. She took us to the front office to find our homeroom. They all had they same homeroom except me cause I'm a junior.

Lonnie said she was gonna take me around the school now. Before we left I had to do something. Jay must know how sexy she is. I winked at her before I left. Definitely going after her.
