24 - Hit and Run

Chaz POV

School ended and Bianca and I headed back to the crib. We went inside and I went straight to the couch and just sat there thinking.

Bianca: Babe, don't think too much. Just forgive her and find happiness. Look, I'm gonna go shower. I'll be out in a few. I'll make you whatever you want when I get out.

She kisses me and walks away.

I just sit there, thinking.

What are friends? Cause I don't know anymore. They can't even let me just be happy with the one girl I finally get.

Both of my best friends, one dissing me the other disrespecting me and my girl. She just can't stop being a player. Always thinking she can get what she want. Asshole.

Then it hits me. Maybe I'm being too serious. I need to just be happy. I should just forgive her. I choose to take Bianca's advice.

I decide to go walk to her house to forgive her.

I knocked on the door and waited.

Then it suddenly clicked in my head. What the fuck am I doing? Walking all the way to HER house to forgive HER and she didn't even apologize. I haven't seen her face since the assembly. She knows exactly what she did. We made a promise to each other Bros Before Hoes and anyone who broke that just wasn't a bro. Fuck this. I'll forgive her all right.

The door opened slowly. But that must've been in my mind cause I could also hear my own self breathing. All I know is I instantly saw the color red. I involuntarily threw a punch and she fell down. When she fell on the ground I looked at her.

Holy moly. What did I just do?

I didn't know what to say or do so I just sprinted home.

I got home to see Bianca in the kitchen.

Bianca: Where'd you go babe? I was about to start worrying when I saw you weren't here when I got out the shower.

Chaz: I had to go.... take a walk... I'm gonna go ..... shower.

Bianca: Uh.. okay.

I turn on the water and look at myself in the mirror. "What the fuck did I just do?"

I hop in the shower and stand directly under the shower head. I let all the water seep down my body from my head which is being drowned with water. I try to wash away this feeling.

I'm an idiot and I regret what I just did. I wish I could just go back and start this over.

If she finds out it was me who hit her she's gonna kill me. She just can't find out. I pray she doesn't find out.

Her POV

I was upstairs in the bathroom I heard someone knock on the door. I was gonna go open it but I remember that knuckle head was downstairs so she could open it.

I heard the door open. Good, she got it. I finished washing my hands and went downstairs. It sounded like the door was still open because I could hear the birds and the cars outside.

I reached down stairs to see the sight of my cousin on the ground.

I run and get an ice pack and a pillow to elevate her head.

She seemed to be out cold. I'm guessing it was a hit and run because no one was at the door anymore and she was just out cold on the ground. No one messes with my family and doesn't get the shit knocked out of them.

I'll find out who did this and when I do they're gonna regret the day they were born.
