Ely POV

'Ely, you're our best friend. We love you. Please, go your way. You are the great-granddaughter of the first Hokage, you will achieve great things.' I realised that tears were already streaming down my cheeks. Now Nao took my hand in hers and looked at me with a pained face. 'Ryoko is right. But you're not only the great-granddaughter of the first Hokage, you're also an Uchiha. Don't look at me like that, you know it's true. We won't survive this, but you will. Don't forget us.' I wanted to say something, but at that moment Ryoko and Nao closed their eyes. The pearls on my bracelet stopped glowing. 'NO! NO! NO! Ryoko! Nao!' My tears wouldn't stop falling. They were dead. My team-mates, my best friends, they were dead.

Suddenly I heard a crazy laugh that almost sounded insane. 'Two down.' I was right, this guy couldn't be trusted. I placed Ryoko's and Nao's hands in each other's, even though they tried to hide it, I knew they were a couple. I wiped the tears from my face and realised that my eyes were starting to sting. When I opened them again, I realised that I had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan.

My opponent shot these strange chakra threads at me, which he had used to inflict this serious wound on Ryoko and Nao, but they didn't hurt me. This surprised even me and when I looked down, I saw the initial frame of my Susanoo. <Concentrate, Ely. There's no point in losing your cool.> Ox → Rabbit → Monkey; 'Chidor!' Thanks to my Flying Thunder God Technique, I was now behind him and a fierce battle ensued. I used Chidori, my taijutsu and some of my basic Susanoo, but he seemed to be able to dodge every attack. He attacked me with full force and tried to mortally wound me, but I didn't give him that chance. Suddenly I had an idea. I let my Adamantine Sealing Chains shoot out of my back towards my opponent and when I had caught him in them, I opened my left eye. 'Amaterasu!' He was caught by the black flames and my Adamantine Sealing Chains detached from him again. He couldn't escape from the Amaterasu.

I quickly formed the hand signs to summon Taka. With a puff, a small version of Taka stood before me. 'Is everything all right? What happened?' 'Taka, fly to Konoha and report to the Hokage what you found here. Then please bring the search party here.' 'But...' 'But nothing, fly.' Taka nodded and flew straight off.

<I'm so sorry. I should have been more careful.> I came to a halt next to Nao and with a thud I landed on the grass and my eyes closed.

No One's POV

Taka flew as fast as he could to Konoha, where he almost crashed into the window pane of the Hokagetower. Hiruzen opened it and let the young eagle into the room. 'Lord Third, I was sent by Lady Senju. They were led into an ambush by their new sensei. Ryoko Urio and Nao were killed. Lady Senju is also badly injured, and her chakra is dangerously low.' Shocked, Hiruzen looked at the eagle in front of him. Ely had had an overly good gut feeling and he and the other jonin didn't want to listen to her. He banged his fist on the table. 'Where are the three of them?' 'In a clearing. I'll lead the search party there.' 'All right.'

Hiruzen summoned six shinobi to form the search party. As he didn't know whether there were any dangers lurking there, he would also send experienced jonin with them. The six shinobi now stood in front of him. 'Your mission will be to find Ryoko Urio, Nao and Ely Senju and bring them back to Konoha. According to Lady Senju's summon, Ryoko Urio and Nao are already dead. The condition of Lady Senju is uncertain. But since I also don't know if there will be any more attackers on the scene, this team will consist of Shikaku, Inoichi and Chōza, two Medic-Nin's and Kotetsu. Let's go!'

All six followed Taka as quickly as possible. Taka was able to quickly lead the team to the clearing where Team 4 was lying. Kotetsu ran towards Ryoko and Nao and confirmed their deaths. Shikaku, Inoichi and Chōza secured the medical nin so that they could check on the young Senju.
