Ely POV

'Whoa, that's what I call a river. It's the perfect place to train.' I'd never seen Shadow so enthusiastic. 'Mh, Taka once said that you can use a special technique. Maybe we can train this and...' Before I could finish my sentence, we heard a loud bang. What was going on? I sent Shadow home and ran in that direction, because that bang, or whatever it was, was coming from the direction Naruto and Jiraiya were in.

I was just rounding the corner when I saw Tsunade direct Naruto's jutsu into the ground. I stopped and watched what was happening in front of me. I had suppressed my chakra and wasn't able to be seen. They said something and Naruto left the place with full enthusiasm. Tsunade, Jiraiya and Shizune went back to the bar. I followed Naruto.

He was now standing by the river where I had gone to earlier. I walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. 'AHH!!!' Startled, he turned to me. 'Ely, you scared me.' 'Sorry, but you should always keep an eye on your surroundings. What if I had been an enemy ninja? Well, what was going on there? Outside the bar?' 'Jiraiya told this old granny that she should be the new Hokage and she said that this post was stupid, so I freaked out a bit. We had a duel in front of the bar, but she was damn strong. Now we have a bet going and I have to be able to do the Rasengan perfectly within a week.' What did he call Tsunade, old granny? Oh dear, when she hears that.

'You'll manage that, Naruto. I firmly believe in you.'

The week went by very quickly and Naruto made really good progress with his jutsu. Every now and then I activated my Sharingan and watched the training, which was good for me because it meant I could learn the technique myself. You never know when you might need which jutsu. One day before the week was over, Jiraiya approached me and assigned me a small mission. There was supposed to be a hiding place nearby and he believed that Orochimaru was there.

So, who wasn't there when Naruto was able to show Tsunade his jutsu? That's right, me. I had found the hiding place and entered it. I looked around the hiding place but found no evidence that anyone had ever lived here. So, let's go back. I was standing on a roof when I saw three animals. A snake, a toad and a snail. Oh boy, what was going on again? Judging by the animals, a fight between the three Legendary Sannin. I hope everyone is okay so far. I ran to the place, but before I got there, the animals disappeared.

Once there, I saw Naruto lying unconscious on the ground. Without paying attention to the people around me, I ran towards Naruto. He was alive, just unconscious. Thank goodness. 'Ely?' My head jerked in the direction of the voice. 'Shizune, Tsunade. It's good to see you.' I stood up and they both took me in their arms. 'It's good to see you, my dear. Let's go back. Naruto should be able to rest in a bed.'

Another whole day passed before Naruto woke up again. We were sitting in a bar when Tsunade told Naruto that she had accepted the position of Hokage. 'The third Hokage was still better than you, old bat.' I slapped my hand to my forehead. Oh, boy Naruto. Well, now we were standing in front of the bar and Naruto and Tsunade were facing each other. It turned out differently than expected, because Naruto won the bet. Who would have thought it? Well, since Tsunade always loses her bets, it was nothing unusual for her to lose the bet. Well then, I'd say it's off to Konoha. The village needs its new Hokage in the village.
