Ely POV

When we arrived at our starting point, we saw something that made our blood run cold. 'Ryoko, Ely...' 'Yes, Nao, we can see it too. Hope the others are okay.' In front of us was the entire Team 5, Hanako, Miko and Daiko. They graduated from the academy with us and became chunin last year. Now they lay dead in front of us. This mission will definitely demand everything from us. Nao marked the spot, and we ran deeper into the forest. An explosion threw us in different directions. <Tzk. My head. I need to find Ryoko and Nao, and I have to find them fast.> I closed my eyes and focused on the chakra flows around me. I followed the chakra signature, which I was able to assign to Ryoko. 'Ryoko, are you hurt? Let me see.' I ran towards Ryoko, and my hands started to glow green. 'Ely, thank you. We need to find Nao.' We made our way deeper into the forest, but I couldn't sense her chakra signature, but the pearl on our bracelets was still intact. 'Ely, look up ahead.' Ryoko and I walked slowly to the spot he had pointed to. Oh no! 'Ryoko, now not only has the entire Team 5 been killed, but also the entire Team 3.' <Nao where are you?> 'We were the only nine genin from the academy class. 'Nao, Ryoko take the scroll and return to the meeting point. I'll take care of our pursuers.' 'Are you sure?' Without giving an answer, I turned to both of them and my Sharingan was activated again. Nao and Ryoko nodded and ran off. Several ninjas came out of the forest and the leader looked at me with an amused expression. 'A little girl wants to stop us. We'll be done with you in no time.' <Tsk, they're very sure of themselves> One of his men looked dreamily ahead. 'Guys look. Isn't this rose beautiful?' <It works like a charm> With my Flying Thunder God Technique, this was a piece of cake. Once behind the group, I spoke: 'Jutsu of the deadly rose.' The group dropped dead. This was the first time I had used my new jutsu and I'm glad it worked so well.

I then made my way to the meeting point, where Nao, Ryoko and Sensei Jumo were already waiting for me. 'Well done, the three of you. Your teamwork and hard training have more than paid off. I'm glad to be your sensei. Let's take the scroll to Konoha and then I'll treat you to a delicious meal.' Let's go back to Konoha and bury our fallen comrades. They were found thanks to our markings and will now be taken to Konoha.

Brief info on the jutsu of the deadly rose:

Ely catches her opponents in a genjutsu, but they do not notice this. Her opponents only see a red rose. Ely then uses the Flying Thunder God Technique to move quickly between her opponents and eliminate them.
