"I signed some paperwork and requested your records from school. For now, let's just start with your assessment. I won't be able to use that diagnosis here anyway but I can use the records to learn more about how to help you," Professor Mo told Y/n as they sat across each other.

"Okay," Y/n took a deep breath.

"You feeling anxious?" The Professor asked.

"Yup," Y/n was short.

"Angry?" The Professor followed.

"I don't know," Y/n's demeanor looked tense.

"Wanna tell me what's on your mind?" Danielle tried to be gentle.

"I just don't get why I have to do this. What's the point?" Y/n was visibly upset.

"It's to help you," Professor Mo was patient.

"I don't get it. What the hell does Minji get out of any of this?" Y/n clenched her fists.

- Danielle POV -

Minji wasn't joking when she said Y/n gets a little agitated when she has to talk about her feelings. Y/n looked like she was being held in my office against her will.

"This isn't about Minji-"

"But it is," Y/n interrupted me.

"She's obviously fed up. She would've done this a long time ago if there was any other reason," Y/n seemed to be gasping for air after every sentence.

"Minji loves you. That's why she's trying to help," I tried to get Y/n to calm down a bit and think.

"See, that's the thing, what does she get out of any of this?" Y/n slouched back on the sofa.

"She loves you. You keep her company. And, you have fun together," I wasn't really sure how to reply.

"Those things are worthless compared to everything she does for me," Y/n kept avoiding eye contact.

"And what kind of things does she do for you?" I continued on.

"Well, those are very obvious. She clothes me, she feeds me, she houses me, and she even roots for me. She does a lot more than I could ever offer her," Y/n had a small smile on her face... but her breathing was really heavy...

"What are the not-so-obvious things she does for you?" I smiled at how grateful Y/n seemed.

"Umm... well-"

Y/n's voice cracked a bit.

"She's worries about me. She takes care of me when I'm sick. She even scolds me when I've done something stupid," Y/n was sniffling and chuckling a little.

"Do you like it when she scolds you?" I smiled.

Y/n laughed and shook her head. "Not really, but it just means Minji cares," she replied.

I giggled a little and nodded in agreement.

"Do you do those things for her? Worry about, take care of when she's sick, and advise her when she's made a mistake?" I asked.

"Of course!" Y/n immediately answered.

"If those are things that are of value to you, and you reciprocate, then I don't see how it's all worthless," I tried to challenge.

- Y/N POV -

I paused for a bit.

Professor Mo had gotten me for a second.

"It still doesn't compare to everything else she does for me. It's not like I could ever repay her monetarily for any of it. I'll always be indebted to her in one way or another," I explained.

"It's not like me being with her gets her anywhere in life or gives her some sort of reward. I cause her more trouble than anything," I exhaled deeply.

"I think you're underestimating your value and potentially invaliding Minji's reasons for being with you. Maybe you being by her side, to her, is the equivalent of everything she does for you," Proffered Mo had a good a point.

"So, for now, let's focus on you and how you've been feeling lately," She redirected the conversation.

"Okay," I nodded.

- Sakura POV -

I've never really understood what Kim Minji's intentions with Y/n really are. She genuinely seems to care about Y/n but she did a whole lot more than I ever had.

For me, it was exhausting.

For her, it was like fuel that kept her going.

"Are you sure about this?" Minji questioned the piece of paper I had handed her over.

"Yup," I answered.

Minji didn't care about any of my warnings regarding Y/n's mom. She was very persistent. So, there was nothing I could do but help with what little information I knew.

"Is she mean?" Minji sounded a little scared.

I giggled at how cute she looked.

"Not really. She's not what you'd expect. Y/n's mom isn't like this evil lady. The problem is how she treats Y/n. She doesn't realize how hurtful her behavior is. She's a really complicated lady. Once you start seeing things from Y/n's perspective is when you realize how fucked up she really is," I explained.

It was true.

Y/n's mom on her own was pretty okay.

The problem came to how emotionally manipulative, neglectful, and selfish she was with Y/n.

"I see. I've dealt with people like her before. It can really drive someone crazy," Minji took a deep breath.

"Your mom?" I questioned.

Kim Minji-ssi gave me a cold look before realizing her reaction and clearing her throat.

"Anyway, thank you. Expect a bit more pestering from me," Minji said before going on her way...

But not before turning back to tell me, "Oh and Y/n is starting therapy again. So, if you see her around here acting out or being a bit emotional, please let me know".

I smiled to myself and nodded.

As I watched Minji walk away, I thought to myself... "She must really love her to put her back in therapy."

"Guess she's officially kicked me out of Y/n's heart," I snickered to myself.
